Monetary and monetary specialists have cautioned the Federal Government that Nigeria hazards losing key public resources for China if it defaults in taking care of advances got from China which is right now put at $3.48bn.

They denounced the background of the conceivable takeover of Uganda’s just worldwide air terminal and other key resources over the East African country’s failure to reimburse a $207m advance acquired on November 17, 2015 from the Export-Import Bank of China.

The credit has a development time of 20 years including a seven-year beauty period. As per the arrangement endorsed with the Chinese moneylenders, Uganda should give up its main worldwide air terminal.

The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority said a few arrangements of the financing concurrence with China uncovered the Entebbe International Airport and other Ugandan resources which may be taken over by Chinese moneylenders upon discretion in Beijing.
