I'm in a bar now and the language I'm hearing sounds more Igbo to me so far oooo!!! are Ijaws really ready for this?

Cc: RobbStark

Where in Opobo are you? If you're man let's meet up and put this debate to rest already by doing interviews? are you game?

I won't advice or encourage this for obvious reasons. Gently, make your observations and leave there.

I'm about to PM him, hopefully he will be man enough to honor my challenge. I'll remain truthful and unbiased with my findings and will post Facebook links to my interviews and observations.

Thank you dear, I'll be praying for you. But still take an Opobo brother in case.

Why is it difficult to state your location in Opobo.
I have told you where I am already.
Since you are a stranger here I will come meet you.
Bro for security reasons I won't be that stupid to disclose my location... Like common, choose a neutral public spot where I can be sure a lot people will be (like a local bar, resteurant, market etc) and I'll meet you there, and may God punish me and my generation if I fail to show up at the rendezvous

I just want him to know the truth.

We start by asking their names and who dey are.
If they say they are Ibos, fine
But if they say they not ibos, he is going to buy me a drink. Then we take pictures this nite and chill

If you know Opobo very well, or you don't ask people you are with, they will tell you the most public place is the waterfront, followed by the king Jajas palace play ground.
Ask around people close to you will tell you same

It's not saying they are Igbos or not Igbos that's not relevant. When you've brainswashed them and called them Igbo slaves, what do you want them to say? If I said your forefathers were Ijaw slaves, how would you feel. Be in their situation.

We want to know if they speak Igbo. undecided

Language alone does not determine the true origin of a people.
The Argentines speak Latin, that doesn't mean they are spanish

His forefathers are not Ijaw slaves because Opobo was formed by 14 Ijaw households that left Bonny. and only 1 belong to Jaja nd all Jaja children have Ijaw mothers nd Jaja was Acculturated as Ijaw first.

That's not the point. We have given you facts that Ijaws has been brainwashing these people for a decade or so. Now, how do you expect some of them to say they are Igbo.

We are saying, do they enjoy speaking the language and do they speak the language. Then the rest would come out clear soon.

Not sure if you suffer from dyslexia or something, but I categorically stated in my earlier post that this is my first time here and my friends are not natives of this place either. What time can we meet up at the King Jajas play ground tomorrow? I'm coming with my camera to take pictures and start interviews as well, thank God I'm finally meeting someone from Nairaland who is man enough to at least show up.

Me pack powder on my face. I would never. I have the cat eyes girls do operation for, especially Ijaw women.

I have the full hips, and a nice figure. So I don't get your point.

I only wear powder if I'm going for a wedding. I don't even wear it to church or for work. grin... So I don't get your point.
