With situation of this next level Nigeria, we better shed this tribalism and focus on finding capable candidate with favourable winning odd, because the desperation of woeful & Dying politicians, even if it's five times better than Bubu, this country will implode

There'[s nothing like the south. What we have are the supporters of the north (Yoruba, Ijaw), The neutrals (Midwest Edo), and those tired of backwardness in the British contraption (Igbo, Akwa-Cross).
Igbo people of the south east are the biggest supporters of the Northern part in Nigeria history.

A true southerner not obansanjo type, abasanjo is a military trained to serve Nigeria.
A true southerner not ameachi type would head towards restructuring.

Tinubu would have been the best but I can't vote for someone of such. We need someone else like akeredolu.

I've not seen any eastern leaders that would work towards restructuring when they get there.

He say na abasanjo. grin

If we must ask for zoning then we must ask for zoning to the end

If power is zoned to the south it's only fair it's zoned also to south east (which I pray doesn't happen ,Nigeria is dead ) outside that lets end zoning let everyone contest
Lolz.
Put an igbo man there na once he go restructure Nigeria. Make everybody go dey do their thing. Reason y the north wont allow it.

Any person that is not selfish apart from a northerner will restructure or divide Nigeria. GEJ was selfish. He was waiting for second term to do it. APC came with the manifesto of restructuring after 8years nothing was done. Nobody in the national assembly whether PDP or APC has move a motion for restructuring. They are all fighting for their personal gain

The South East are not ready to leave Nigeria who are you deceiving?

Nobody is holding the five south East state.
But dragging other state is the problem.
If the southEast politicians can work together to get Biafra like the way the north shield bandit no one will hold them.
Well, you made be right. But if u take public opinion in the south south, majority of us see ourselves as more of biafrans than Nigeria. We'll gladly follow the East or have the Niger delta republic than to remain in nigeria. Apart from the ijaws no other south south ethnic groups has come out to denounce biafra. So they are not dragging us rather its Nigeria that is dragging us because of our oil

Ekwueme drafted zoning and the intention was clear same way he created the 6 geopolitical zones we have

Power is not coming to south either we do zoning ( to south east ) or everyone contest

Let ibo candidate go and contest against Atiku, Saraki, Tambuwal in PDP and let Tinubu contest against any other candidate in APC.
I don't know who is afraid of contest.

You have a point. Mr tinubu doings has shown his insincerity on restructuring.

Osibanjo also shy from what he was said to have once defended.

But is there anyone from the east that would tow the part of restructuring

How exactly is Tinubu supposed to restructure since 2015?
Is he the president or a Senator?

Do not change the subject

Deal with what I wrote.
I
I am telling you that that left right binary does not define political parties anymore

That is analog thinking

Politicians come out and campaign on the problem of the moment
Often the voting space is very emotional and has nothing to do with any issues

What were the issues separating

Obama /McCain
Trump/ Clinton
Trump/Biden

just mention ONE

People vote for who they believe will do what is important to them

Whether it be
Climate change
Stopping immigration
winning a war
etc

These are not necessarily ideological issues and often are emotional

Which other are you talking about? We have Southern and Northern Nigeria.

I'm speaking for APC alone, Power will be zone to the South.

I do not know about other Political Party like APGA, PDP ect.

The two Yoruba candidates that defeated the two ibos candidate are Christians o.

So there should be no excuse of Northerners voting for them because they are muslims.

Igbos know they stand no chance competing against a Yoruba man in the 2023 presidential election, the only geopolitical region the igbo candidate will likely defeat the Yoruba candidate will be in the South East.

I don't know about the PDP, but in the APC, if Igbos can't fight for the ticket, then they should forget it. No matter the blackmail or wailings from them, the Presidential candidate won't be microzone to their Political Region.
Y are u people pointing figures to north west. Saying they work for it. Please what do they work? You people just argue with ignorance. In 2007, Yaradua never had an ambition to become president. It was Obasanjo that picked him against all odds not Because Yaradua merited or because the north west did anything significant for him but because of his relationship with yaradua father back then. Back to 2015. 2015 was not about any geopolitical zone, it was a war against the South, and it was unfortunate the south west politicians was rather fighting for their zone alone so they help the north achieved their aim. Then in the north, parties, zoning, qualifications, etc. were thrown away. All the PDP governors in the north except Taraba, worked against their party. They just wanted a northern person as president irrespective of party or region. South west betrayed the rest of the southern region and shouldn't expect us to just allow them have their way this time. Our position is clear, south south or south east else we give it back to the North. Make we just kukuma destroy Nigeria
