Wondering how a man murdered over 50 people before been caught? then you have to read this to the end.

Stephen Enya was the senior laboratory assistant at the Abura Dunkwa District Hospital in the central region, Ghana. According to Hot Audio, Stephen focuses on pregnant woman who visit the hospital for antenatal and their newly born babies.

He draws excess blood from pregnant women, accumulate and sell it to Yahoo boys popularly known as Sakawa boys, who then use this blood for ritual purposes. He sells the blood between GHC5,000 - GHC10,000 ( Depending on the quantity).

The pregnant women Stephen draws their blood and sell to this sakawa boys ends up dieing during childbirth or lose their babies. In some cases, their health worsen during the pregnancy period.

Sometime around 2016 Stephen was made the morgue officer while serving as the senior lab officer, he was to look after the morgue but complains starts coming in about corpses missing some parts. Family members who found their corpse missing some parts reported to the hospital and the hospital called Stephen off the morgue. The hospital thinks Stephen was been careless, they never suspected he was the one harvesting those body parts.

In 2017, due to the enormous complaint made to the hospital authorities, the medical superintendent Michael Danso reported the case discreetly to the District police commander, Superintendent Robert Adika of Abura Dunkwa police station. The medical superintendent swung into action, investigation began and after thorough investigation, they suspected the laboratory technician.

According to Igbere tv news, one of the police officer posed as a Sakawa boy (Yahoo boy) contacted Stephen Enyan on WhatsApp and requested to buy a pregnant woman 'blood'. Unsuspecting Enya decided to sell for him at the rate of GHC10,000.

The disguised police officer agreed to pay Enya part payment of GHC250, Enya agreed and the transaction was sealed. Stephen agreed to meet at a particular location so he could collect the GHC250 deposit but he was arrested in the process. Stephen was charged to court, the WhatsApp conversation and the GHC250 was used as evidence against him. Till date the outcome of the court hearing is unknown.

If Stephen was sentenced or released is still a mystery.
