yanabasee2:Do you for a moment give a thought to what the country would turn to if other states begins to reciprocates?, this is the kind of actions that led to resource control agitations, banning of open grazing n what have you, personally I feel it's wrong for Nigeria to be operating different legal systems if truly we desire to build unity in our diversity,we should simply draw up a common unified law making provisions to cater for the special interest of the citizens where necessary that's all, it's like the present insecurities bedeviling us will be around for a very long time especially with people of your mentality. 1 Like |

Tranquillity360: There was a heavy reprisal attack against those Headslammers in Aba in the year 2000. Few of them (like 10) were killed in Onitsha before everything calmed down. Then came the 2006 cartoon riot, Omo I saw hell that period. It was total massacre and annihilation in Onitsha. The truth is that no Newspapers or media could give accurate number of people killed in Onitsha. Hundreds of them were killed at Head bridge why trying to escape East. Their bodies were thrown into the River Niger. Those fishes for River Niger really enjoyed that period oo. Every street in Onitsha then were littered with dead bodies. It spread to Nnewi. Their only mosque at Nnewi then was burnt and some of them killed. So they don't have any mosque in Nnewi till date. Some parts of the East like Nsukka also killed some of them. After that Onitsha massacre, they stopped their useless madness and start respecting themselves ever since. 1 Like |

The hypocrisy of the northern elders especially Kano would soon destroy them. This might even be a political uprising to divert people' attention to the evil machinations of the Kano political players. Otherwise it s a well-known fact that sabongari is a No man' land initiated by the former governor to foster peace and had remain so with sales of alcohol and other things you wouldn't get in the other parts of town, however more expensive, so why the recent rascality from religious n backward hisbab to foment trouble? |

I am Muslim and don’t take alcohol but hisbah wahala don too much for that Kano. What if southerners start destroying cows and other northern traders goods? Hisbah should be calming down, Nigeria na secular state. |
