Something they should have done since the useless hisbah started from the onset they should have resisted them from the start. You say it’s wrong to burn down keke and deprive Someone from his source of income yet it’s ok to destroy another shop selling alcoholic beverages as his own source of income?you guys are not serious at all..down with hisbah angry angry

You're stupid for this dumb take! Is Nigeria an Islamic Republic? How can a state be Islamic if the constitution states that the nation is secular? You fools accept taxes and income from federation account owing to activities that are NOT Islamic but you want people to live according to some religious dogma that they don't believe in?? Nigeria has a million problems but hisbah thinks this is a good time for religious intolerance, how can you guys be blind to the fact that this is extremism is the reason the north is insecure?

When you talk like that, it is evident you have not traveled around Nigeria and do not know what it takes to succeed in a business.

When people were running helter-skelter in Sabon Gari yesterday, I was in a hotel where the majority of the men there were big time Alhajis drinking beer. The problem with Hisbah is hypocrisy. Who will serve those Hausas that wish to drink?

The constitution guarantees freedom of religion but once you call yourself a Muslim, Hisbah wants to take your rights away.which should be against the constitution.

Islam is a cult of deception

When people like me talk they say Islamophobia

But this cult is all about conquest and trampling of freedom

They give you taqiya that they are only for Muslims at the end it's forced on non Muslims too

It would always continue to be so with these idiots even if they reside outside their territory

You just write with great ignorance. I am almost certain I have been to more states than you in Nigeria. I have lived on Court Road Sabon Gari. I have worked in Gwarzo. But since your recourse is the Constitution, wait until you are slaughtered like a ram in the next riot before leaving Kano.

Let me tell you something.
Buhari will rather open fire on his fellow islamabad ppl than allow them cause wahala in Sabon Gari.
Why?
Because ppl wey de mad pass aboki dey all the regions now.
If 1 Igbo blood drops in Sabon gari, just wait for the return match in Aba and Onitsha tomorrow and na wetin boys de wait for so Biafra will come faster.
As dumb as your buhari is,he is aware of this simple analogy

Before you use the word "ignorance" on someone, check yourself first. You lived in Kano but learnt nothing.

Igbos should leave Kano and the north for hausa people.

If you can make this comment, that means you are oblivious of the fact that not every business can thrive any where it is relocated to. How can an Igbo who owns 5 big hotels worth billions move his hotels to Enugu without losing out.

I know an igbo man who was settled by his Igbo boss. He relocated to Portharcourt and for 6months his business couldn't thrive. He went to Jos and tried unsuccesfully. He wasted a whole year trying to leave the north. He came back to the same town he initially left and boom, he is second to his former boss. His business couldn't thrive anywhere other than the place he learned the ropes and he is a success now only because he came back. He left for the same reasons you are talking about his business coudnt leave.

Yet you seem to think of only one thing that is impossible, "leave the north". Above is just one example and there are hundreds.

You can choose to understand the issues or not, the fact is, they would have left if they could.

Deepthoughts:
Do you for a moment give a thought to what the country would turn to if other states begins to reciprocates?, this is the kind of actions that led to resource control agitations, banning of open grazing n what have you, personally I feel it's wrong for Nigeria to be operating different legal systems if truly we desire to build unity in our diversity,we should simply draw up a common unified law making provisions to cater for the special interest of the citizens where necessary that's all, it's like the present insecurities bedeviling us will be around for a very long time especially with people of your mentality.

Yes, this will lead to restructuring of this country....

This way, each region will have total control of their revenue generated.....

Some people quoting me seems to miss the fact that Kano have their legislative order which they are enshrined with... And the Country's constitution recognizes state laws and regulations as well...

Would you agree with this assertion of yours that Fulani herdsmen should also leave the southern forests and rare their cattle's only in the north because most southerners don't want them here

You need to be reasonable...

Cow meat is not against the state laws.... Ofcoz, the southern governors have passed a bill already on cattle raring...That will stand... These bills are state bills and will be effective, which will likely supercede the same laws you're quoting in the 1999 constitution...

Alcohol is against the state laws...Already, there are laws prohibiting the selling of alcohol in Kano and other northern states... You need to respect people's laws so that they will respect yours ..

That is why herdsmen should relocate to their states where open gracing is lawful.

Yes....

They should... because there are state bills passed by state governors to prohibit open grazing....

If the state bills can hold... for open grazing.... then, Kano state bills which prohibit the selling of alcohol should also hold...

Who said kano is an Islamic state? What nonsense, y’all want to claim Islamic but when the Niger-delta claim they own the oil alone y’all come and say we own the oil and we are all Nigerians. hypocrites, shame on you all. No state in Nigeria belongs to any religion and I repeat no state. Islam and Christianity are foreign to us as an African, the real owners are the indigenous Hausa ppl and let it be known they are not Muslims, the Hausa kingdom was conquered using jihad and cos most of y’all are illiterate up there with lots of almanjiris, y’all don’t know your history. Shame on you

MODIFIED Nigeria being a secular state agrees to state bills...

If Southern state governors passed state bills to stop open grazing, Stopping fulanis from grazing and moving freely according to Nigeria constitution... Then, Kano has the right to enforce their state laws which openly prohibits the selling of alcohol...

Talking about the VAT... Some of you don't even know what that the VAT for state is different from that of FG.

And Wike was fighting to have higher percentage of the VAT that he's generating... And he's got my support.
