All this electoral amendment bill should have been done by southern leaders like Obasanjo and Jonathan while they were in power. The way Obasanjo and Jonathan play down restructuring the same way they also played the electoral amendment bill But they left this strategic assignment to a leaders from the core north. How then do you expect a core sectional leader from Fulani tribe to support the bill and give his assent 2 Likes 1 Share |

I knew it. It would never favour the north if signed. They're the father of all riggers globally. After all the election results had been announced and well monitored on the telly. You'd now hear that borno inec officials are just arriving Abuja 2 days later, where results are being announced. They'd now be citing logistics and bad road network as the reason for arriving late meanwhile they were somewhere in abuja thumb printing the ballot to make up for southern votes differences. They'd now tell the whole world that borno where boko haram isn't allowing them enjoy peace with many already displaced, recording over one million votes. I've always said this, buhari can't be trusted 4 Likes 1 Share |

I can now understand military takeovers resurging all over West Africa. Our so called democratic leaders tend to become so so autocratic after winning second elections.Just imagine how PMB has become so insesitive to the feelings and mood of Nigerians? the worst thing about this all is that the man has effectively pocketed the national assembly to the extent they are less than a rubber stamp with the speaker and SP reduced to errand boys in the aso rock kitchen 2 Likes |

Nigerians should understand that this is a tactic to keep us in perpetual servitude to the political class. Electoral process where the majorities have their say and the minorities have their ways. An electoral process where the clock of our progress is continually reversed. We cannot keep passing the chains binding us from generations to generations. If their is a better time for Nigerians to speak up loudly it is now. A repetition of Endsars protest to herald the signing of this epoch bill is necessary. Every problem we face today emanates from the way we choose who leads us. As independent as INEC should be, results from elections should never be altered or even seen by any soul not directly involved in its collation. Buhari did not study anything. Femi Adesina did and did so to please the caucus members. Buhari had no time to study any document. I rest my case. 3 Likes |

Shikini:Wike that you now believed, his party was in power for sixteen good years but never saw reasons for introduction electronic transmission of results. Or are we saying that technology just came into the world after defeat of his party. While in full grips of power in his state for good eight years he superimpose local governments elections, he never for once saw how good electronic transmission of results are talk less of him even trying similar thing like El Rufai has done in Kaduna. 1 Like |

gawu1: Focus on what is happening today, the past is a lesson of history, today is what will determine your tomorrow. The errors of PDP should not be repeated by Buhari otherwise, there is not reason to have voted out PDP, if all we get is same of the same. Buhari lied to Nigerians on so many things, when he was seeking their Vote, he therefore, is A FRAUD. Hos Govt is worse than that of PDP, at least under PDP, Nigerians could buy Rice at #4,500 per bag (now it is #36,5000 under Buhari!) Bag of Beans was #25,000, now it is over #150,000! Oil, Garri, Yams, Plantain and many other foodstuff of the common man are unattainable, under this evil Buhari. When PDP was in Power, as useless as they were, we did not have Fulani terrorists, which Buhari nick-named as "bandits", killing dozens of people EVERY DAY, in our country. It was this Buhari Jihadist that imported his evil brothers from Mali, Guinea, Niger Republic and other countries, to come and be terrorising Nigerians, in Nigeria. Buhari should be made to face the ICC, for Crimes against Humanity, once he leaves Office in 2023. 4 Likes |

kulrunsman79: Mr man receive sense from anywhere you can get it. Buhari is not the problem but everyone including you that doesn't see anything good at all in everything Buhari does. Buhari failed because he refused to work with some people he referred to as thieves. Actually they are, but he was unable to manage them, reason they constitutes a security and economic sabotaging menace against his government. The mafians has discovered him a toothless dog that cannot kill a fly that's why they do anyhow because he stopped them from illegal mining of gold and other minerals across the north. These so called bandits are formally sites guards at illegal mining sites. The solution is to give the mafians and their foreign counterparts the chance to continue their business and free the "no fly zone" in Zamfara state since he cannot 'obasanjolised' them. Simple. |
