There is no chance of a young brilliant Nigerian becoming president except direct primaries is adopted

With direct primaries, any capable candidate would be able to come in, sell his / her manifesto directly to party members and win nomination.


With indirect primaries, money bags will always come in and hijack the process by buying up delegates. A governor, like the one they call POS, who has embezzled so much state resources will have enough to buy up delegates
