It is with great privilege that I herald this news that the membership of Nairaland is now above 700,000. (Give or take say 500 b'cos of multiple Id's a la the Musiwa's, Matemates, 190s and so on.
If you ask me, this is one of the fasted growing forums on the world wide web.
At this rate, there is a huge likelyhood membership hits 1 million in another 3 months or thereabouts and then we can say about a 100th of the literate populace of our dear country Nigeria are on Nairaland!
Who knows? Nairaland may soon be a major factor in determining suitability for political offices. . . but I do hope I'm still on ground when that happens.

At this point I'd like to say "Good Job!" to all the protagonists and antagonists; not forgetting the moderators. OAM4J, it wasn't as easy as it looked, yeh?
