What killed naija today was overconfidence and too much PRESSURE. Imagine pinnick coming to the Super eagles dressing room for a speech meant for the coach, PRESSURE NO.1 The president of Nigeria motivating the Eagles(wetin concern am) PRESSURE NO. 2 and finally the owner of Airpeace promising the Eagles 10million if they succeded in winning the Afcon, PRESSURE NO. 3.

Instead of u guys to blame the coach tactics, u r busy calling buhari.how can eguaveon remove a striker for a striker when looking for a goal.that is pure nonsense.what is sanusi doing on the pitch.eguaveon should not coach us against Ghana if we want to go to the world cup.look at the person they sacked rohr for.

That Sanusi was a total rubbish.... I wonder how he make the team

All these toxic girls wooing Maduka..we have seen your hands o.They just succeeded in relegating his destiny.
Now coaches will think twice before using him as number 1.

So unfortunate...
I just can't imagine him wanting toxicity in his life. It's highly probable that his parent(s) is(are) toxic. Toxic people will intoxicate one, they have truly intoxicated his goal-keeping ability.

The coach is more stupid for bringing okoye to keep for Nigeria in a serious match like this, Dude was in that goal post thinking about ladies in his instagram page.

I always wonder. Does Eguavoen actually think Maduka is better than Uzoho in goal?

How?

I don't even understand how this Maduka dude took over Uzoho's number 1 position.

Boss, you are right ...You are very right ...

But boss you know something... I keep saying Nigerians always think they know what they have zero ideas about...Crowd mentality. Allow people to think for you. Then tell you what to think.

You remember all the names they called GEJ, then voted Buhari in. Later Buhari turned out to be their worst nightmare...

When there were shouting Rohr doesn't have tactics. I wonder if most of them understood what tactics meant.....

I waited for today from the very day Eguaveon was appointed SE coach. Nigerians know how to drag themselves backward by themselves...
how is today's match the coach's fault? Is the coach responsible for the reckless challenge that reduced the team to 10 men, even after the red card, with the changes he made the team still stood up to the tunisans 11 players as if they were not a man down.

Based on history especially in football anytime we overhype ourselves we celebrate too early, relax and then loose focus. How can Tunisia beat us??

We better learn. Round of 16 cos we top our group we are already singing.

Lovelink1991:
Let's be truthful to ourselves here, the boys and the coach were just being hype. The boys were playing lazy countries and unform Egypt boys. They were playing to retain their jerseys due to the presence of new coach. Now that they have met some one that is very much in form, how did we end up. Rohr wasn't the problem of Nigeria.

Actually the boys are good bt they were overhyped and distracted too early. Imagine goal keeper giving interview saying he like toxic women in the early stages of a serious competition??

Nigeria and overhyped are 5&6. Then the fvckup starts. Sensible countries get the job done 1st b4 the hype.

We overhype b4 we even get to the middle of the assignment. undecided grin

Dangote, otedola and that useless Cbn governors visits, Buhari’s speech were all unnecessary distractions, tensions and overhype that we like to do to show off too early in the game. I was like why are these people distracting these boys with money promises so early and unnecessary noise and hype?? undecided

Our media and NFF too with eguavon coach or head coach noise in the early stages of a competition? They ban pinnick and all these unnecessary noise.

Then when I saw the boys practicing football at night I said these ones are not serious again. It’s better to practice early morning than at night. U need ur sleep against fatigue.

Brazil doesn’t play cos of money oo they play for passion with no unnecessary overhype or distractions that’s why they are good.

Don’t be promising these guys money if they win this match or that. Instead anytime they win give them if u like to appreciate them bt don’t promise them ahead of matches. Its makes them think they are playing for money not passion.

Not true.

I still think d fault boils down to d coach, u don't use same strategy in all matches.
Nigeria was discovered, dey play better at d wing, moses Simone in particular.
Notice dey used two man marking for Moses and chukwueze.
D coach should have noticed this and change tactics in d second half.
And iwobi is a goat, running like an headless chicken without anything valuable to contribute, wonder y he was called to d tournament, maybe because of okocha's hyping undecided

Call or no call, they wasted their first half doing nothing.. No close marking, no attacks, substitution not timely done. Everything was just ODD... Anyways, it's over, no need crying over spilled milk...,
Heterodox:
They weren't meant to be everywhere. But then, even if they stuck to their position Buhari badluck would have affected them.

don't teams normally have a separate goalkeeper coach? Just asking? However, I don't think uzoho is better than this present keeper, frankly I think both of them seem to lack confidence when u watch them.

Sometimes favorites are not always the best options.

A Sadiq attack was more ferocious than the entire minutes both nwakali and ihenacho played together.
