This sounds surreal, and also I doubt you’ll get even by cheating, that makes you both cheaters, and also increases the possibility that the cycle will repeat itself again. I think most people will dissolve the marriage or get separated for a while so you can take time to heal and figure out what you want

Why not end the marriage as you both can never start afresh after your intending revenge infidelity as you don't cut off your nose to spite the face.
