Idiots that dont appreciate china and the largesse with their loans will soon learn that china has been Africa's best friend in a LONG time. As long as china sees that you are able to pay back, they lend you money. None of this exploitative IMF economic adjustment bullshit that results in serious hardship for citizens.

Useless IMF.
Have these dimwit ever insisted that the government construct and operate a sizable refinery for the country, have they ever insisted on the government starting and completing of any known economically strategic project in the country.
They are extremely useless.
Even lapo as a lender is doing a better job at appraisals.

They should remove the fuel subsidy
Improve power supply.
Improve accessibility to clean energy [Solar]
Those of you kicking against the removal of fuel subsidy should know that Nigeria economy is solely dependent on oil revenue.
And PMS is used more than AGO, DPK and LNG combined.
Worst case scenario is that most of the subsidized products are diverted to other West African countries where they still market the product without subsidy.
Before federal government will realize more capital for infrastructure development in railways, education, health, agriculture etc.
Subsidy must be removed.
Don't expect state governments to pay salaries smoothly, employ people, increase workers salary and carry out infrastructural development without increase in Federal allocation.

Remove the Fuel subsidy Now!
It's high time we make a crucial decision for our future and damn the temporal consequences.

Sorry to say but you no get sense, they "should remove" - the one they have removed what did it benefit us, or you don't know the major goal of those evil organisation - Anything that will impoverish the people and let them continue milking us. .. Too BAD!!!

Certain helpful pills are bitter. The suggestion plus other strategic economic steps will surely help.

The only major problem is that rogues are in power, their hearts are sold to doing evils while hiding in that Abuja rock.

By now we would have forgotten about fuel subsidy if not Tinubu and his urchins’ stupidity and malicious unpatriotism in 2012 when they mobilized their fellow social irritants to Ojota to protest against fuel subsidy removal.

Something he knows was imperative but he chose to play selfish politics with it.

Tinubu will never benefit from all of these his many treacherous acts.
that's y even my dog go rule Nigeria before tinubu go smell that seat. He brought calamity on us cos of his selfish ambition

Yeah removing the subsidy is the best course for the Nigerian economy, but at what cost?
If fuel subsidy is removed it will only be a matter of time before the hardship becomes no longer tolerable and things start to fall apart, the government is super afraid of another protest.

When the subsidy is removed like IMF are insisting, who pays for it? The citizens who are already impoverished?
The 5k a month stipend the FG is sending to 40million nigerians....once the subsidy is removed, inflation rate will triple and that 5k will look like ordinary 500naira!
Since the NNPC is a revenue generating agency, why did the president who is the substantive minister of petroleum not sanction loans that will rehab or build new refineries when he was sworn in as president?
Now FG wants to transfer the suffering they should have nipped in the bud long ago to the citizens!

You are a clown. .

I know probably u are either one of the people close to politicians having access to free Commonwealth funds. That is why u are saying they should remove subsidy.

Or either u are a successful and corrupt business man that is thriving due to the rot of the system.

Can you remind me how many times they have removed the subsidy before?

If they remove it again now, prices will fly times 3. . A lot can't even afford 1 square meal now. . In some few months time, they will claim that they have infused subsidy again into their expenses.

Let them prioritize the welfare of the masses above all. . Let them remove the leakages in their system and excessive perquisites and allowances and budgetory allocations for executives and legislators. The executive airplane fleet and maintainance . . Etc.

96 percent of Nigerians are heavily suffering . . Stop being selfish as your leaders.

This fuel subsidy is the only dividend that a common man is getting from Nigeria government, if they remove that subsidy, the whole money will end up in the politicians pocket so make no mistake of supporting subsidy removal.
