✍�It's the International day Of Girls and Women in science, and the importance of inclusiveness cannot be overemphasized.


For years, science has been a male-dominated profession.


According to statistics, women make up only 30 percent of researchers globally, and they are awarded less research funding than men and are less likely to be promoted.


It is high time the world recognizes women’s contributions in research and innovation, smash stereotypes and defeat discrimination against women and girls in science.


It's high time the world acknowledges and celebrates those leading action and innovation around the world. Women like JANE GOODALL, CHRISTIANE NUSSLEIN-VOLHARD and a whole lot of others.


Let us break the barricade that excludes women from participating fully in Science. And make science inclusive for all, irrespective of gender.
