Shadow arrived at Club Mountedelarosi, a club that was situated in Banana Island, only for the elites, and the vip’s of the country, which meant that only people with net-worth that amounted close to millions of dollars only frequented it. Unlike the clubs we have on the mainland or other places in the country where net-worth wasn’t required and anyone could visit and hangout or party. So it only hosts people like Politicians, Drug Dealers, Assassins/Hit-Men and Big time players in the yahoo yahoo industries. A club where bottle water sells for 50k per unit. If you visited the club at night, there’s nothing like what we see in self acclaimed VIP clubs in Lagos where people party in a packed congested place and put in mind the loud music that a dj plays from a nearby turntable and the tensed atmosphere and body fluids. This club provides a cool and calming atmosphere coupled with a very very serene environment. There’s music but no partying and the type of music that filtered from the speakers that were invincible was at a volume that added life to the atmosphere. Shadow was the only person in the lounge, he sat relaxed, and had ordered a bottle of Champagne, something that sold for 3 million. Shadow cut a very composed figure in the lounge that when you looked at him, you saw a very handsome and calm person but he had two 9mm holstered and covered by his tuxedo. He always went out with two 9mms on a normal day or on days when he had to see someone for a contract or something else and today was one of those days.

Six minute Later, Alhaji Tanko arrives the following conversation ensued

Ofcourse he could have lit his cigarette in front of Alhaji Tanko, but Shadow loved to smoke all by himself so that way he had time to reflect on himself, or resume thinking about something he’d kept in his mind at some point before. Shadow, a very very deep and critical thinker, asides that, he could tell a lie before it was told, he had the ability to read body signs and the change of a person’s tone in a conversation and so to say if you held him in a conversation.

Shadow stepped outside the air conditioned oversaturated inside that still held Alhaji Tanko and his Champagne hostage. He then found a cozy seat just by the pool and settled in to puff on the nicotine contained stick of cigarette he’d produced right after he’d sat down. The stick soon found its way to shadow’s lips and ‘twack twack twack’, Shadow’s lighter kept fumbling at every click from Shadows fingers to ignite the already positioned stick of premium made cigarette. He’d keep trying to get the lighter to ignite but no lick and that kinda made him look like a fool. He gave up and in frustration threw the lighter in the swimming pool that spawned across the bay area. He then stood to go back to Alhaji Tanko when a tall figure approached from the far end of the bay area signaling him with advancing movements. Normally he’d not have acknowledged the call but then it was a lady and as soon as the lady came into view, she smiled and spoke.

Shadow, yeah okay. I know what you’re here for, that man inside who happens to be your client is my Husband, as soon as you’re done discussing with him, I’d like to have a meeting with you.. I’m staying at the Queens Roves in Maitama Abuja. Never mind, a ride would be waiting.

Shadow:

They shake hands and Shadow watch her disappear the way She came and damn, Alhaji with his hight taste for women.


Shadow and Alhaji Tanko reappeared at their earlier sitting arrangement before shadow stepped out for his cigarette.
