Putin has single handedly destroyed his country in 2 weeks(The currency lost more than half it's value and the stock market hasn't opened in weeks fearing a worse outcome when it eventually does). He has single handedly reinvigorated NATo. This is basically an advert as to why you should join NATO. He has even caused Germany to spend more money on Defense and Switzerland to move from it's neutrality position. He has proved to the world how incompetent his army is. Russia's military dwarfs Ukraine. They aren't even comparable. Russia should have taken Kiev last week. Russia has lost about 7000(conservative estimate) troops so far and at least 1000 tanks and planes so far. 7000 is greater than all the troops the US lost in 20 years in Iraq and Afghanistan and Russia has lost that in 3 weeks. And we aren't even talking about the soldiers captured or the ones that fled. They are in such bad shape they have begged China for weapons and FOOD. And are asking foreign fighters to volunteer. They have also lost 4 GENERALS in 2 weeks. The losses are INCREDIBLE and UNSUSTAINABLE for a modern military fighting Ukraine. Yes, Ukraine is being devastated and the loss of life for them will be immeasurable. But in terms of military objectives, they are holding off Russia and Russia is losing. If Russia does take Kiev in the end it will be a wholly pyrrhic victory. And this is the same Russia that can't beat Ukraine and can't even feed it's soldiers or fuel their tanks that is threating NATO? lol
