My best thread so far.. I will keep this one for a long time. Death is sure for all.. you must feel it some day

My dad 6th September 2021, drove himself to the hospital on the Friday 3rd of September cos he had been having malaria symptoms for some time and has been taken treatments and it's still persistent,so he decided to go do some checkup in a local hospital,he was a very jovial and humorous character,so he was more busy catching up with everybody on the street on his was more than he cared for his health.he got there and after the checkup the doc said he had shortage of blood and will be admitted.firs time I ever heard him sleep in a hospital for about 30years now, Saturday blood was admitted and on Sunday which he was supposed to be discharged breathing changed and was moved to a specialist hospital and on Monday afternoon old man was dead.it didn't look real to to me.i left home since 2019 to lagos and my coming back to see him was his dead body in the morgue....,.the painful part is that we talked on that Friday morning before he left for the hospital and he said he was going to the village to do something but never told me he was sick cos it didn't seem serious.....since he died I hate to go emotional cos once I remember his face it will make me cry like a baby

My first girlfriend who gave me life (mum) I love you and I'm making you proud today regardless you're not here anymore

A good woman promised to train you in school, but unfortunately died before she could fulfill that, and you didn't bother to even know whether her baby is still alive or not

This smacks of selfishness and wickedness, and i'm pained by it.

Please, look for that baby and render to him/her that help the mother would have rendered to you if death didn't take her away.

you got a point bro....... but it wasn't my fault, the family of the husband took the baby away, the husband since then has cut off every relationship with our family, so it's really difficult to find them, am still trying everything.... i will do all my best to reach out for the baby

3rd March, 2020 will forever remain etched in my memory. Lost my Dad to the cold hands of death. Right before my eyes on the hospital bed, baba left this fleeting world & life has never been the same.

My lovely niece. She was taken to the hospital and was confirmed dead within 1 hour. I carried her for more than 30 minutes crying and calling God. May her soul rest in perfect peace.

Mama left me about 13 years ago after battling cardaic related illness for long . It was a sad experience indeed . Reasons i often ask if Death is a good or bad thing. Continue to rest in power and Glory dear mama.

stop attributing God's name in a foolish way, one way or another, May not be hospital though.... person go see loved one and the next minutes/hours/days /months/years... they are no more.... it's no biggy but a heaviness in the heart(emotion)

My husband

My mum, she drove us to school that very morning and went to her business place, when i got home from school i saw alot of people crying at my huz, at first couldn't understand y they where crying was later told my mum collapsed and died instantly at her business place. Couldn't have the chance to tell her gud bye

Abdul Hammed may you continue to rest in peace. Igando General hospital caused his death, he was neglected " accident victim " for more than 12 hours before we go the news, we rushed him to sacred heart hospital Abeokuta, and he died the next day.

General Hospital is a 'no go' area during some emergencies cos of carelessness and neglect.

My dad (after spending 2 weeks recovering in the hospital after a successful surgery). Prostrate cancer. I was actually by his side when he passed. 200 level Uniben, many many years ago. After his death nothing else can make me feel that level of pain anymore. I am hardened. Going 12 years now

My uncle, that was in 2012. He didn’t even make it to the hospital alive. Had accident on his way from school where he was just been awarded PhD. Turns out he left this world the day he became a Doctor of philosophy. Still painful!

After seeing him on Saturday while the doctor informed us of his discharge the next morning, boy gave up the ghost at 2AM...the biggest shock of my life...no goodbyes...just went like that

I miss him though

So sorry!! but why they die after they have recovered, or seem to be improving in health still baffles me.

Just lost my cousin yesterday. He went for open heart surgery at General Hospital, Ikeja yesterday. He actually made it through the surgery but passed out and gave up the ghost as they were making plans to move him to the ICU. I was informed immediately he died and the pain was real. I was at home eating not knowing my cousin was dieing at the hospital. Please, say a prayer for him, his name is Ogheneochuko

She actually prepared our mind. She knew her days were getting near. Had been sick for a while and got tired fighting. Too young to die.

hmmmmm......this life sha..... mine is my lovely mum first.... then my sweetest father, i have never loved any the way i loved that man... then my elder bro....i died a million times.... that i am still alive today is a miracle..
