Why You Should Do These 9 Things Everyday As A Couple Before Going To Sleep by Tochukwuoparaa: 4:59pm On Apr 02, 2022
1. Pay Attention to Their Body Language

When someone is lying to you, there are certain signs that will indicate that to you. The body language that someone shows when they are lying will be different than the way they show when they are telling the truth. When someone is telling the truth, there is no doubt in their body language. They will look you in the eye, give you their full attention, and will nod their head when you are making sure that you are understanding what they are saying. But when someone is lying, there will be a different pattern of body language. They may look away, fidget, scratch their nose, or look at the ceiling.

When you are paying attention to someone’s body language, the first thing that you should look for is their tonality. Are they speaking in a flat tone, or are they speaking with excitement? Lying is a performance, and when someone is performing, they will speak in a way that is consistent with the way that they are performing. They will speak in a flat tone, and will speak slowly enough so that it is obvious that they are not saying anything.

2. Look for Their Gestures

The next thing that you should look for is their gestures. When someone is telling the truth, there is no doubt in their gestures. They will look you in the eye, point when they are making a certain comment, or will gesture when they are explaining something. But when someone is lying, their gestures will be different. They may point when they are telling the truth, or will scratch their head when you are asking them a question. They may even avoid eye contact, or will fold their arms across their chest when they are telling you something. When you are paying attention to someone’s gestures, the first thing that you should look for is whether or not they are fidgeting. Are they constantly adjusting their clothing, or are they constantly adjusting their posture?

3. Pay Attention to Their Verbal Cues

When someone is lying to you, there are certain words that they will use, and these are called verbal cues. The words that someone uses when they are telling the truth will be different than the words that they use when they are lying. When someone is telling the truth, their words will be well thought out, and will be spoken in a way that is consistent with their tone of voice. But when someone is lying, their words will be different. They may speak in a faster tone of voice, or will speak louder when they are lying to you.

They may also use certain words more often when they are lying, and will avoid using certain words when they are telling the truth. This is a behavioral cue that you can use to determine whether or not someone is lying to you. But there is a more specific set of verbal cues that you can use to determine whether or not someone is lying to you.

They may use words that don’t make sense, or use filler words like “like” or “you know”. They may also repeat themselves, or use words that have negative connotations like “never” or “always”.
