Like the insults were not necessary, shey people dey vex for the guy ni?

That's how toxic the Nigerian tech space is. No be today, I am used to them even when I was starting to code and I was asking css questions here older more experienced people were abusing me and telling me to abandon everything I was doing.

It's easy to say follow your dreams but life is very weird. Nigeria is even proscribed by the ITAR so how would the op even get a security license. I know how many jobs I have lost because I am a Nigerian citizen. I will do 3, 4 interviews and at the final they will change their mind and say oh we want only an EU, EEA or allied nations citizen. Op can do whatever he wants. Destiny is different but my own is that he should research extensively and create a plan before embarking on the journey.

Concerning the quora link, are you also aware that the job market for clinical pharmacists in the US is highly saturated and some pharmacists are struggling to find openings.

Despite this fact, I have friends who have migrated to the States, sat for Thier NAPLEX exam, passed on flying colours and are currently raking in more that 100k dollars annually.

My point is, most fields of endeavour are saturated, heck even tech, of you are not exceptionally good in tech you'll hardly get remote gigs, but does this mean that people who are very good don't get jobs from foreign companies??

Once you are really good and determined, you can always achieve your goals.

I read your previous post and this, and one thing you failed to realise is that the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is way different from aerospace. It is not advisable for a foreigner to study for a degree with limited jobs and restrictive immigration laws guiding that industry. Any foreign bloke can get a masters in bio-this and chem-that and get a job quickly but not in the aviation industry because of the laws guiding employment in that industry.

grin grin grin grin. Aren't you ashamed?
Before you enter any discussion/arguments with a Nigerian, you need to know that they're very emotional and they start throwing insults upadan...

There's nothing wrong with you said, I can't imagine a someone wasting time learning something without thinking about the monetary aspect and blindly using the word "passion"...

That's why we have many broke game devs even in the US today who followed their passion and trying to make the next flappy bird.

My favourite video game is Mortal Kombat xl and I found out that NetherRealm Studios the maker of MK pays the workers around $40k or less and treat their workers anyhow in the US, entry level devs in other sector earn around $120k and Game Dev is way more difficult and stressful.

PS: I'm talking about Game Dev because it's similar to the aerospace engineering stuff in terms of difficulty and the "passion" people have for these fields and the low percentage of success compared to other fields in Development

What is so funny is that Nigeria has been completely blacklisted by the ITAR so how is the op going to even get security clearance. On reddit theres an aerospace engineering section and so many students have to return back home after they couldnt find work. OPT is valid for two years and if you cant get a company to sponsor your visa within that two years you are back in Nigeria. Just imagine the shame after all the millions being spent. It was the same with pilots a few years back. People spent millions and couldnt find any work after training.

Its not even money, aerospace is basically applied mechanical engineering but literally no jobs if you arent a citizen of an advanced country that has an aerospace program

Sometimes we need to use sense and evaluate our options and stop following the word "passion" blindly

Passion is fucking overrated. I follow money now and put passion into whatever I am doing.

I have always loved to draw, over time I have transferred my passion to digital format and now I want to make this occupation my main source of income. So far, I have posted my portfolio at remote jobs illustration jobs remote. There is a large selection of employers from around the world. And thanks to the fact that I will work as a freelancer, I can consider proposals from any country. I like to understand that I will work in class projects!
