ZnO:So what's your point? GEJ can sack any minister with a telephone call from his toilet. You can't compare a minister to the CBN governor. |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by ZnO: 9:23pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
OAM4J: Wait for the shocker. Sanusi is nowhere near aso rock in 2015. He has everyone, including northern Christians (and those ones have learned quite some lessons from their muslims brothers) to contend with. Buhari's case is still fresh with us, yes? |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by ZnO: 9:25pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
J12: No one is sacking anyone (and I have not written that anywhere in my post), but someone stands not being reappointed. He has already gone far in his tenure. I wonder how many months left for him. lol |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by ektbear: 9:28pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
Sanusi in Aso Rock? A bigot like him (go read some of his writings online on gamji.com and other such sites)? And who would vote for him or support him? Let him run for governor of his Kano state, or perhaps think of becoming Emir there. But as far as national politics goes, I doubt most in southern Nigeria trust him. Let GEJ stay another 4 years, if needed. There is no need for a guy whose first instinct is to Islamicize the country. |

I AM SO SURPRISED AT OAM4J'S INTELLIGENT DISCUSS. IT BAFFLES ME MORE HOW SEUN MANAGES TO GET THE LIKES OF JARUS, AISHA2, OAM4J ETC WHO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX AND LATER BEGINS TO FIGHT THEM DIRTY WHEN THE ELECTORAL HEAT IS ON SIMPLY FOR OPENLY GOING AGAINST HIS OPINIONS. |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by ZnO: 9:31pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
enyojo: I am shocked too, beyond imagination. Sanusi ko, sharia ni. |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by ektbear: 9:34pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
Anyway, the lesson going forward is not to trust sensitive positions like CBN chairman to certain types of northerners. You look at the dude's resume and even wonder how he became bank MD and CBN chairman. Worked for 5-6 years after college, then went to Sudan for Islamic religious training for 6 years, return to Nigeria and then within 2 years get promoted rapidly? He has never struck me as some sort of genius to advance that rapidly despite his limited work experience. Sounds like wuruwuru to me. |

As for Sanusi being a sellable candidate for 2015, all I can say is that for now I have my spotlight on : Fashola, Ngozi, Rochas, El-Rufai and Sanusi This 5 seem the most probable to hijack Nigeria from the satanic cartels. However, as the years roll bye, we will get a clearer look by their fruits we shall know them! @ZnO, Sanusi might not be as diplomatic as he could have been especially in how he went around the world washing our Banking Nyash in their presence just to attract investors when every nation experiences banking crisis, and also how he is pursuing 'Islamic banking' instead of simply calling it just 'Non-Interest Banking'. However, generally and largely, Sanusi has a great heart, a large one for that matter and if he can face vampire Senators on National TV, he has the balls to lead Nigeria. trust me |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by Nobody: 9:36pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
ZnO:O. I now see where you're coming. I also don't think Sanusi will be reappointed, i can't remember the last time a CBN governor served two terms. |

enyojo: Who will vote for Fasola? May be SW votes can take him to Aso Rock?lol The SW has had their turn for 8 years. They should go to sleep for now. |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by Sunofgod(m): 9:42pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
J12: He's executing the 'Agenda' of his masters well. I dont see why he will not serve a second term if he wants to. In terms of 'Power' the position of presidency is a step down for him. And let it be known now - GEJ is not the most powerful man in Nigeria. |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by ZnO: 9:45pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
Sun of god: If GEJ wants him to be reappointed, he will be reappointed. Otherwise he goes. Do we know why GEJ is not even commenting on the sharia bank saga? Probably giving Sanusi a long rope to hang himself I wager that GEJ is waiting for Sanusi's tenure to end before shoving him aside. I dey siddon look, lol About the most powerful man in Nigeria mantra, no single person can lay claim to that as of today. |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by OAM4J: 9:51pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
ZnO: let's assume you are right for a moment. SW vote for fashola ACN, SE vote for Rochas APGA and North vote for Sanusi PDP. Who do you think will win? BTW, Dont get me wrong, I am not a fan of Sanusi, I am only being realistic with the way Nigerian electorate vote. If the North should choose a consensus candidate in 2015 for PDP, they will most likely pick Sanusi ahead of Sambo. |

Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by aljharem3: 9:56pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
OAM4J: in as much as i love sanusi, i don't think the north will pick him from the way people especially Christians are calling him a religious bigot then that is not the way to go about it the north will best pick sambo or El rufia or better still atiku |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by ZnO: 9:57pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
OAM4J:Nobody wins because you need a certain percentage from every state to win. Igbos are spread all over Nigeria more than others and can influence the numbers in some places like Lagos, Kano, Jos and PH They will (N, SW and SE) all have to sit down and negotiate again. One good thing that GEJ's coming brought into our consciousness: more political awareness. |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by ZnO: 9:58pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
OAM4J: Okay! I hear you, while laughing in idi iroko.lol Complimentii!! hahahah |

<Quote> Fashola, Ngozi, Rochas, El-Rufai and Sanusi </quote> Fashola - broad appeal, successful execution of office duties, role nodel for aspiring governors, fiscal responsibility, high scorecard results, open partnership for foreign investment and growth consolidation under a 100yr plan to transform the environment and economy of Lagos. Let me stop at this point for now. Now, compare the other potential candidates on this hopeful list and match or beat Fashola results. Remember I Did not include his academics, professional or even awards. Just the publicly acclaimed results alone. |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by ZnO: 10:01pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
Negro_Ntns: Fasola broad appeal amongst whom? The same Fasola who deported northerners? Igbos want it too in 2015 The North wants it too GEJ is likely to be tempted to want to continue Fasola is of ACN, with no national spread. He has to be a magician to convince Igbos to vote for him after Obj was there 8 years. Even Tinubu will work against fasola for a presidency. Take that to the bank. |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by ektbear: 10:03pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
None of them compare to Fashola. However, political realities will make it challenging for him in 2015. Competency (unfortunately for him) is not the only criteria for being selected for office. Though if Rochas has an exceptional term and Fashola flops in his 2nd term, I'll revise my statement. |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by Nobody: 10:04pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
Sun of god:I am very sure that Sanusi won't serve a second term as the governor of the CBN - even if he wants to. I don't think GEJ will pick him. And who is the most powerful man in Nigeria, if not the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces? |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by Sunofgod(m): 10:05pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
ZnO: Dont mind the 'Dreamers' Yesterday it was 'Bakare' they were shouting from the roof tops - And what happened? Fashola will never be president of Nigeria. |

Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by NegroNtns(m): 10:07pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
I don't know if the CBN Chairman's wife is white or black. There were three Dr Sanusi from that family - their father had about 96 kids and more than half of them are successful in one way or the other. If this is the one married to a white woman, he will not run for Presidency in 2015. He schooled in England and is very laid back. The fact he is even in CBN is surprising. However, if its any of the other two, you can bet yyour a.s.s they are in the contest till kingdom come! |

Sun of god: who are the dreamers bakare did not even win his home state and that is why i as a nigerian sees the SW as one of the most detribaised people in nigeria why can't fashola be the president? |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by ZnO: 10:08pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
Sun of god: Dreams are free of cost. So people can afford to dream as much as they want. Who the frigging hell is Fasola? Okorocha has more appeal-he appeals to the North, East SS and parts of SW. He has free schools all over the country. But even that is not enough. |

I present to you th next CBN governor He is SSner and former MD of one of the well-managed banks in Nigeria I just suddenly forgot his name. Will post it when I remember. |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by NegroNtns(m): 10:10pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
The fact he did not discriminate in his deportation policy says a lot ! Does it not? If you are looking for a non-discriminating candidate will Fasola not be a choice? |
Re: Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala At Last! by Sunofgod(m): 10:11pm On Jul 05, 2011 |
J12: Please - GEJ does not have the authority to appoint a CBN Governor nor can he sack him. On Paper GEJ is the most powerful man in Nigeria as president (Just like Obama, Cameron, Medvedev) In reality there are people more powerful than them that pull the strings. |
