There is an organization called Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists (AWAB). Hundreds of Baptist churches around the country have already shamefully joined this group, making public through AWAB their support for the homosexual community. There's no preaching about the sin of homosexuality in these churches, lest gays be made to feel inferior about themselves. It is not a coincidence that homosexuals chose the Baptist denomination to push their agenda, because most of your best Christians are found in Baptist churches today.

Our forefathers would have been alarmed had they known what the United States would one day become. Who would have thought that there would be such a thing in America in 2015 as “LGBT” (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) Baptist churches. It is wickedness according to the Holy Bible...

Romans 1:24-27, “Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

Satan is the god of this wicked world. To say that God tolerates any type of wickedness is a satanic teaching and false doctrine. It was our sins that nailed Jesus to the cross. The concept of Biblical “love” is being perverted nowadays by the world in a sinful attempt to justify all manner of wickedness. Love without truth is sinful compromise, and compassion without conviction is apostasy.

Luciferians Have Infiltrated the Churches

Our churches are collapsing into apostasy. Especially in the southern part of the United States, enormous Masonic lodges are prevalent and many, if not most, older Baptist men are Freemasons. Tragically, one-third of the Masonic membership in the U.S. are southern Baptist men. GET RIGHT WITH GOD!!! It's just a matter of time until the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) embraces the homosexual agenda. Here's an example at the Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church in New Orleans of how Satan has infiltrated the churches through Freemasonry.

For those of you who don't know, Freemasonry is a Luciferian-worshipping occult group. Ninety-five percent of its members are lied to, kept in the dark, and do not understand the true nature of the inner core leadership. High level Masons worship Baphomet, the horned Beast. Baphomet is a mockery of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. There is much evidence to expose the Luciferian conspiracy to infiltrate, corrupt and control the churches. Occultists are taking over the churches, one way is through corrupt Bible versions! This is why such evil organization as the National Council of Churches were created, of which the American Baptist Convention are a member.


The Apostate 'American Baptist Convention' (ABC) and Churches

From 1907 to 1950, American Baptists called themselves the Northern Baptist Convention, and from 1950 to 1972, they were the American Baptist Convention. Today they call themselves American Baptist Churches USA (ABCUSA). In 2009, the denomination had 1,310,505 members in 5,402 churches. The ABCUSA are a member of the National Council of Churches, the Baptist World Alliance and the World Council of Churches (all apostate groups).

In 2006 the ABCUSA embraced the homosexual agenda and lost 300 member churches. What really concerns me is that 5,102 churches decided to stay!!! It is wickedness! Every one of those member churches should have left. In fact, there's nothing in the Holy Scriptures about joining conventions or ministerial headquarters. They're the hindquarters if you ask me. The Bible way is independent churches. That way if the mother ship sinks spiritually it won't take the other smaller ships (churches) with it.

It is a sin for any church to honor unrepentant sinners, whether they be homosexuals, rapists, idolaters or thieves. Proverbs 28:4, “They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.” . . .

In 2006, more than 300 churches from the Pacific Southwest region of the ABC (USA) voted to withdraw from their 1.5-million member parent denomination after its leaders refused to address complaints about the membership of “welcoming and affirming” churches, or churches that accept as members unrepentant homosexuals, in the denomination.

Kindly, what a fool! What you've just read is totally unbiblical. She is an evil woman. What would Jesus have done? The Bible tells us in John 7:7, “The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.” Jesus hated sin and preached against it!!! Hebrews 1:9 says that the Lord hated iniquity. Jesus testified AGAINST THE WORLD, THAT THE WORKS THEREOF ARE EVIL!!! Homosexuality has become an evil agenda in American politics, religion and law. God is the ultimate Lawgiver, not man (James 4:12). The Holy Bible condemns sexual perversion of every sort, including the vile sin of homosexuality, which goes contrary to nature. Colossians 3:5-6, “Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience.”

It's amazing to me how people selectively pick what they want from the life of Jesus, while totally rejecting the rest of the Word of God. That is what wicked people do. Ephesians 5:11-12, “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.” The Bible teaches believers to separate from the wicked and refute (Greek: elencho, “to expose”) their evil works. Homosexuality is an advanced stage of rebellion against a holy God. Homosexuals are spiritually walled behind layers of sinful pride, lascivious lusts, anger, humanism, idolatry, resentment against God, ingratitude, foolishness and darkness.

Homosexuality is almost as evil as it gets. The infamous Cheshire, Connecticut, rape and murders of a mother (Jennifer Hawke-Petit) and her two young daughters (Michaela, 11 and Hayley, 17) in 2007, were committed by two thug assailants who both later confessed to authorities of having been sexually abused by homosexuals as youth. Don't you dare tell me that homosexuality is harmless. Evil begets more evil. All homosexuals have pederast (desiring young boys) tendencies. That's why NAMBLA exists (North American Man-Boy Love Association), who are trying to lower the age of consent so that they can sodomize America's sons. Jeffrey Dahmer (16 murders) was a homosexual deviant, as was John Wayne Gacy (33 murders). All 49 known victims were boys and young men.

Parents, teach your children the signs of homosexual behavior and how to protect themselves if lured. I admire Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has signed laws protecting Russia's children from homosexual propaganda and has banned the adoption of children by queers! Amen for that!!! Where's Anita Bryant when we need her more than ever in 2015?


LGBT Supporters DO NOT Fear God

In the preceding quote, the foolish religious woman associates FEAR and HATE with those God-fearing Christians who take a Biblical stand against the sin of homosexuality (Romans 1:24-32). She is a wicked church member who is perverting the truth, turning it around. The Holy Bible warns against doing such wickedness in Isaiah 5:20, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” To accuse God-fearing Christians who preach against homosexuality as being fearful (homophobic) and hateful is evil to the core. The accusation of being “homophobic” is manufactured propaganda by evil people, who are attempting to stigmatize and demonize good Christians for obeying God. I am not afraid of homosexuals, but I am afraid of God, which is Biblical. Proverbs 3:7, “Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.” Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

When anyone expresses support for homosexuals and rights for Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transgenders (LGBT), they are clearly showing that they DO NOT FEAR GOD. Psalms 36:1, “The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.” Lesbians and homosexuals DO NOT FEAR GOD. Romans 3:18, “There is no fear of God before their eyes.” Hebrews 9:27 warns that after death there is judgment in eternity. Ecclesiastes 12:14 warns that God will judge EVERY WORK of man, whether good or evil. Even our idle words must be accounted for (Matthew 12:36). Homosexuals may win their rights for a short earthly lifetime, but they will have no rights whatsoever in eternity. God will be their Judge.

Every Christian ought to have a healthy hatred for sin, fraud, evil, falsehoods and unrighteousness. We ought to love people unconditionally. However, this does not mean abstaining from preaching against sin from the church pulpit. I won't remain in any church that has a DEAD pulpit. The spirituality of the church congregation cannot rise above that of the pastor. This is true with few exceptions. It's pretty bad when you have to go home from church and listen to other preachers say-it-like-it-is, because your church's pastor is a Casper Milquetoast character who doesn't preach. I'm so sick of lame sermonettes spoken to a bunch of Christianettes, many of whom rush home to smoke their cigarettes. LET'S ALL GET RIGHT WITH GOD!!!

AWAB Calls on the SBC to Recant Anti-Transgender Resolution

The Board and Staff of the Association of Welcoming & Affirming Baptists (AWAB) are angered by the Southern Baptist Convention's resolution condemning the transgender community as particularly "fallen" and, if not repentant of their very nature, outside the fellowship of the church and communion with God. We are gravely concerned about the message this sends to transgender persons, a message that says "if you pray and give your life over to Christ you will be healed.”

This is the same message that has been told to gay and lesbian people for decades. This practice has spawned the “Ex-Gay” ministry movement as well as the pseudo-psychology of reparative therapy. These practices have caused significant harm to individuals, their families and the churches that they are and have been a part of. The resolution on transgender people passed at the 2014 annual meeting of the SBC will surely spawn the same kinds of ministries and practices aimed at the Transgender Community.

AWAB supports churches and communities of faith who welcome and affirm All of God's children regardless of sexual or gender identity. We seek to be a place where God's love is revealed in and through us, and where the command to "love your neighbor as yourself" includes all humanity, even those whom we do not understand or disagree with. The Fornicating Church Members in 1st Corinthians 5:1-13

The entire chapter of 1st Corinthians 5 is dedicated to addressing the problem of open sin in a church. An unclean man was living in fornication with his father's wife, that is, his step-mother. The church welcomed this adulterous couple in the name of “loving thy neighbour as thyself,” just as AWAB wrongly teaches. The sin wasn't being mentioned from the pulpit. There was no preaching against sin, which is clearly evident from the mess the Church at Corinth was in. Chapter 6 says they were suing each other in court. Chapter 8 says they were eating meats offered to idols. Chapter 1 says they were fighting amongst each other, forming cliques within the church body. Chapter 11 says some church members were showing up drunk at the Lord's Supper. What a mess! The Church at Corinth resembles many dysfunctional church families today in 2015 in America! The Church is the household (family) of God. Our family's are in a mess!

The Apostle Paul (who was in another city) was upset when he heard about the situation. Paul wrote the Church at Corinth in 1st Corinthians 5:1-5, instructing the elders to confront the man and woman, asking the couple to repent or be asked to leave the congregation until they broke off their adulterous relationship. You cannot openly bring sin into the church and still be pleasing to God. James 4:4 says to befriend the world is to become God's enemy. Sin is of the world and the Devil.

The problem of open sin in 1st Corinthians 5:1-5 is the very same problem with homosexuality in the churches today. Certainly, anyone and everyone ought to be welcomed at a church (and they will be if it's a Biblical New Testament church). Homosexuals ought to be welcomed in the churches as sinners, but not as members in good standing who have no need of repentance. That's what AWAB is striving for, that is, homosexuals becoming honored church members in their unrepentant wicked condition.

The Black Mass is the ultimate satanic ritual and eye witnesses in Rome say Henry Kissinger and George H. Bush have attended such rituals in the catacombs of the Vatican.

“To attend a Black Mass at the Vatican is the highest of honors for satanists,” said Leo Zagami, a former high level Illuminati member who recently defected and started telling the truth about the inner secrets of the Vatican satanists.

“I know for a fact George H. Bush and Kissinger have attended Black Masses at the Vatican.”


High level Vatican priests of course deny any connection to Satanism, saying Black Masses are occult rituals carried out by groups such as the Church of Satan.


On a web site dedicated to the occult it said the Church of Satan was founded by “Anton S. LaVey” in San Francisco, California, in 1966, on Walpurgisnach or April 30, the most celebrated feast of the Witchcraft.

LaVey, appeared as the Devil in the film “Rosemary’s Baby”, and was technical director of another film, “The Devil’s Rain”. His most famous disciple was Sammy Davis Junior, who later regretted experimenting with Satanism. Film star Jaine Mansfield was also a member of the Church of Satan, which has an estimated 5,000 members.

On “The Satanic Bible”, the “9 Satanic Statements” claim that “Satan represents indulgence, instead of abstinence”. Represents materialism, instead of pipe dreams. Vengeance, instead of turning the other cheek.

Satan represents man as just another animal, more often worse, the most vicious animal of all!.

… “Here and now is our day of joy”, proclaims, “eye for eye, tooth for tooth, aye four-fold, a hundred fold!”… kindness to those who deserve it, but if you want to kill them, do it!, morally or physically, because the main doctrine is “do what you want”.

It falls in the category of “public Satanism”, with a symbolic Satan… but in the rites, “a nude woman” is the altar… and that’s non only symbolic!.

In the prayers, Satan is invoked and honored, and Jesus Christ is cursed… and that’s not jut a symbol!… 19 prayers are recited in “enochian language”, a kind of old Arabic not spoken by anyone, and some of them end with this English translation:

“Be friendly unto me, for I am the same! – the true worshiper of the highest and ineffable King of Hell”.

In “The Satanic Rituals”, there are some of the highly offensive and blasphemous words for a Black Mass:

“Thou, thou who, in my capacity of Priest, I force, weather thou wilt or no, to descend into this host, to incarnate thyself into this bread Jesus, artisan of hoaxes, bandit of homages, robber of affection – hear!… O lasting foulness of Bethlehem, we would have thee confess thy impudent cheats, thy inexplicable crimes!. We would drive deeper the nails into thy hands, press down the crown of thorns upon thy brow, and bring blood from the dry wounds…

… cursed Nazarene, abstractor of stupid parities, impotent king, fugitive god!… O Infernal Majesty, condemn him to the pit, evermore to suffer in perpetual anguish. Bring Thy wrath upon him, O Prince of Darkness…”

However, critics of the Vatican claim its hierarchy are actually Satanists, conducting Black Masses as its most important pagan ritual.

But what goes on at a Black Mass: According to the same occult web site,

“This is the ultimate rite for a real Satanist to obtain magic powers: A blasphemous Mass, where the altar is a nude woman, and the vagina is the tabernacle. If possible, a real Host stolen from a Catholic Church is placed in the vagina in the midst of reciting distorted psalms with hot music and all kind of obscenities, coursing Jesus and honoring Satan. The fake priest (or real priest) ends up having real sex, with the Host still in the vagina.

… If a baby can be slaughtered during the ritual, they will drink his blood and eat his flesh, to mimic the most the Eucharist…

… Ideally, a Black Mass is to be celebrated by a “real heretic Priest”, that, even in sin, can celebrate Mass effectively.

The prayers end with the strongest expression of Satanism:

“Shemhaforash”, the word pronounced by God when he created the World, and, while spitting on a cross or stepping on it, they all cry out “Hail, Satan”.

… And, of course, it may end up with a sexual orgy with all kind of abominations and abuses, under the influence of drugs.

Further, Massimo Introvigne of Italy, a known Vatican agent and satanist said in an interview with Maria Grazia of Epoca Magazine that he attended a Black Mass in a Church of Satan in Turin.

Here is a portion of the interview:

EPOCA: Mr. Introvigne, how did you succeed in overcoming the mistrust of the people from Turin?
INTROVIGNE: I’ve frequented cult circles for years. I found my Satanist contacts among people practicing sex magic. Although I’m a Catholic, I enjoy a good reputation. It was they who sought me out. At times, we met in neutral territories; then they allowed me to attend their rites.

EPOCA: Where did the rite take place?
INTROVIGNE: In a private apartment of the old part of town, probably used as a storehouse, with a room nearly ten meters long.

EPOCA: How was the furniture?
INTROVIGNE: Essential. With no black painted walls, like you can see in the US or in other deserted Satanic chapels discovered also in Turin. Just an altar, at the center, with a dark pall, similar to those used for funerals. There was a statuette showing the devil with a erect fallus, at least 30 centimeter long… A lot of devil shaped red candles, a “hand of glory” and a presumably human skull.

EPOCA: Who attended the mass?
INTROVIGNE: There were about twenty people, all standing. On average, they were quite young, 30 years or more, I guess. There were a few women: not more than seven or eight. They all wore normal clothes, except the celebrant who was black dressed, with a mantle reaching his feet and a hood on his shoulders.

EPOCA: How was the rite held?
INTROVIGNE: It started by invoking Satan, in a shaky Latin, according to the classic liturgy which turns the Catholic liturgy upside down. The faithful replied to the texts by heart. There was a sequel of ritual acts such as: lighting candles, Satanic spells, manipulation of objects, which lasted about twenty minutes. Then a priestess came in.

EPOCA: What do you mean?
INTROVIGNE: In Satanic rites a woman, a virgin is much better, acting as an “altar” is essential. In the US I’ve seen wooden supports anatomically shaped so as to host the priestess in a laid down position. In Italy it’s usually an uncomfortable table. That’s why, I guess, the woman came in after the rite had already started.

EPOCA: How old did she appear to be?
INTROVIGNE: I don’t think she was a chaste young woman. She was 40, more or less, good looking, but really embarrassed. May be, it was her first experience in this field. Again, in America I’ve seen naked women moving with extreme naturalness. Not in this case. She entered covered with a bathrobe. She took it off and stretched out on the altar.

EPOCA: What happened then?
INTROVIGNE: The “priest” carried out the rite with the deconsecration of the Host (they assured me it wasn’t a stolen host). He put it on the woman’s body and then he quickly, quite in a furtive manner, dipped it in her vagina. Then he raised the chalice. The elixir, a mixture of sperm and vaginal secretions which serves for giving immortality and creating the “body of glory”, had been prepared in advance and was ready.

EPOCA: Did any copulation take place?
INTROVIGNE: Yes it did, soon after. But it was quite short. It lasted a couple of minutes more or less. And it was just between the priest and the woman-altar. It was like if the act was mimed, unlike the ceremonies where I’ve seen celebrant and “altar” find pleasure while executing the rite, a rite where the faithful as well took part.

EPOCA: What did the followers do meanwhile?
INTROVIGNE: They drank from the chalice. But they remained rigorously dressed.

EPOCA: Did they sing any hymn?
INTROVIGNE: No, they didn’t. They mumbled some invocations to the devil, while there was an atmosphere of strong emotional tension. There were neither songs, nor musical instruments, unlike the US where you can often hear a pianola accompaniment.

EPOCA: In what manner did the ceremony end?
INTROVIGNE: The priest blessed the faithful using a liquid which I guess was water. Manuals talk about urine… and it should be the woman-altar who produces it. But I don’t definitely believe that the lady from Turin, who was already really embarrassed, could be willing to be of any help.

Besides the above accounts, former Jesuit priests Malachi Martin and Alberto Rivero told Americans how they attended Black Masses before they left the Order.


In a web site called puritans.net, they gave a short synopsis of what the two priests said:

Malachi Martin documents that a Black Mass was held in St Paul’s Cathedral in 1963. During this heinous affair, several cardinals “installed Lucifer to his appropriate place” in the Vatican, as “head of the church.”


Martin claims that a good deal of the child molestation occurring now is actually Satanic worship. Part of the Luciferian rites of many of the priests, nuns, and hierarchy. He intimates that many who engage in this kind of “worship” are indeed secret Masons.


Malachi Martin was himself a Jesuit priest, in a high official capacity in the Vatican. “In God’s Name” has a photograph of Malachi Martin, seated right next to Pope John Paul I – the Pope that was murdered. Martin is seated between Pope John Paul I (who is on the Papal Throne) and Diego Lorenzi, an aide who accompanied John Paul I from Venice, where he was previously.


Alberto Rivera also says that he attended, as a Jesuit, a Black Mass in the Vatican. With the Jesuits. Martin himself did not attend the Black Mass, but he knew of it. He later resigned the Jesuits – around 1972.He was “Laicized” so that he could write books on the corruptions he had seen in the Vatican.


He recently passed away in 1999. Some Catholics think he was murdered. He also wrote a blockbuster entitled “The Jesuits: The Society of Jesus and the Betrayal of the Roman Catholic Church.” In that book, he details how the Jesuits became Communists in the 1960’s, under their then Secretary General, Pedro Arrupe. And he documents how they fomented Communist revolutions in several countries—especially in Latin American and Africa.Below follows an online book review of “Windswept House”, a novel of Malachi Martin’s, in which he tries to predict what might happen to the Church of Rome. He predicts the end of the present dispensation, and the return of Christ.

The central character in the story is a “slavish Pope.”

Former Jesuit Malachi Martin’s novel, Windswept House (Doubleday/ Main Street Books), offers a lurid behind the scenes look at a cabal of Vatican insiders who want to use the Roman Catholic Church as a foundation for a politico-religious New World Order.

The plot of the novel involves a group of Church officials who scheme with a group of like-minded corporate executives to manipulate the Church into a ready-made infrastructure for a One World Religion—a universal umbrella for everybody from Episcopalians to voodoo practitioners. The new ecumenicalism is clothed in Globalist garb.

The agenda includes promoting issues like population control, environmentalism and secular humanism, which the plotters hope will eventually lead to the complete secularization of religion. The most outrageous and controversial premise of the novel – described in great detail in the prologue – is that a ceremony was performed in the Vatican in 1963 – an occult ritual which enthroned the fallen archangel Lucifer as the head of the Roman Catholic Church.

Does Dr. Martin believe that this enthronement actually took place in his novel, which could liberally be described as a roman a clef?

“Yes, it did,” he says emphatically.

The “credo”, is summed up in “do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law”, coined by Crowley in “The Book of the Law”.

There are two kinds of Satanism:

Those who believe that Satan exists and is a powerful force… with animals and children sacrificed to worship him and get his favors, and the Black Mass as the main rite.

Those who believe that Satan does not exist, but it is merely the symbol or personification of fleshy human desires and appetites… and they try to imitate it, with all kind of sins, pleasures and selfishness, lying, steeling, killing…

Categories of Satanists

There are not many Satanists, may be less than 10,000 in the world!… only curiosity and sensationalism pays them much attention, and the actual satanic activity has been greatly exaggerated.


But there are several categories:

Group secretive Satanists: They believe that Satan really exists.

The “Traditional”, hate Christianity, celebrate the Black Mass, in the cup they drink blood of a sacrificial animal or human, to mimic the Mass.

“Nontraditional”, from Neo-Platonism, Eastern Mysticism, and Islam, or off-shots of the Kabbalah, Theosophy, Rosicrucianism, Freemasonry… the “blood” they drink is not necessarily a parody of the Catholic Mass, but to partake of the “fire energy” that blood provides.

Public Church Satanists: No secret, hold worship services open to the public, based mostly on the writings of Anton LaVey’s “Satanic Bible”, and they believe that Satan is a symbolic force:

For most, interest in Satanism is a passing fad influenced by drugs, sex, and rock-and-roll, but with serious consequences, like in the spectacular case of Charles Mason, or Andrew Newell who stabbed his mate to death, or Peter McKenzie who sexually abused 13 children.

Individual Satanists, often disturbed individuals, neurotic or psychotic, like most Satanists!.

Nicholas Marc stood to address the group of Satanists gathered before him.

“Welcome to the many new faces here tonight,” he said.

It was a Wednesday evening in Ottawa, and around two dozen people had gathered for the biweekly meeting of the Satanic Temple. Some were there in secret, fearful of getting fired from their jobs or being shunned by their families for associating with such a group.

Instead of an actual temple or place of worship, they congregate at The Koven, a heavy metal bar downtown adorned with skulls, spikes and drawings of the underworld. Some ordered beer or one of the 17 types of poutine, which include the DevilDriver and Cheesus Krist.

“When we first started, there was like four or five of us at meetings. Now there’s this,” Marc said as he extended a tattooed hand toward everyone seated at the tables. “And it’s happening across Canada.”

Texas’ “Heartbeat Bill” has been met with significant opposition by Big Abortion and the Biden administration. That’s not a big surprise. What is surprising (and quite unsettling) is a group claiming that the federal government must provide its members in Texas unregulated access to medical abortions as a matter of religious freedom. The group is the Satanic Temple.

The Satanic Temple was founded by two men using the pseudonyms Malcolm Jarry and Lucien Greaves and is based in Salem, Massachusetts (whether by coincidence or as a publicity stunt, I don'’t know). Members of the Satanic Temple do not believe in God —

The narcotics wars in Mexico have increased in scope and intensity beginning with President Felipe Caldéron’s December 2006 de facto declaration of war against the cartels and gangs. The deployment of Mexican military forces in counterorganized crime and stability and support roles directly responded to the loss of the country’s control within many regions—identified as areas of impunity—of the country. Since this conflict began, over 45,000 people have died in the fighting, and the areas of impunity have grown to include wide swaths of territory constituting hundreds of locales now under control of the cartels. The criminal insurgencies waged by the cartels and gangs, centered on a strategy of securing nongovernmental interference with their illicit narcotics and other criminal economic activities, have received much attention and debate. Far less has focused on some of the darker spiritualistic parts of the drug wars.

One component entails the rise of the cartel and gang narcocultura (drug culture) variant of the Cult of Santa Muerte (literally translated as “Holy Death”).2 This variant of the cult promotes greater levels of criminality than the more mainstream and older forms of Santa Muerte worship. Sometimes it can be so extreme that it condones morally corrupt behaviors—what many people would consider as resulting from an evil value system that rewards personal gain above all else, promoting the intentional pain and suffering of others, and, even, viewing killing as a pleasurable activity.



While addressing the rise of such dark spirituality requires a balanced perspective (e.g., avoiding a repeat of the Satanism scare of the 1980s), enough ritualistic behaviors, including killings, have occurred in Mexico to leave open the possibility that a spiritual insurgency component of the narcotics wars now exists. Not all of the narcotics leaders, their foot soldiers, and assassins have remained religious or, alternatively, embraced secularism. But, evidence suggests that the numbers of defections to the cults that worship a perverted Christian god (e.g., La Familia Michoacana and Los Caballeros Templarios) and the various unsanctioned saints (e.g., Jesús Malverde, Juan Soldado, and Santa Muerte) have grown for years.

This rise in deviant spirituality has not come as a surprise. Mexico still contains a significant population of persons living in poverty and feeling disenfranchised by a government system perceived as being based on patron-client relationships and the influence of wealthy ruling families. This underclass produces a disproportionate amount of unsanctioned (folk) saint worshipers—though only a small percentage of them end up as killers for gangs and cartels. Still, many of these men and women who brutalize, torture, and kill others need a way to rationalize their activities. If not offered solace via mainstream Catholicism, they will seek comfort elsewhere.3 While the adherents of a more benign drug saint, such as Jesús Malverde, can engage in nonreligious killing, others who worship Santa Muerte increasingly appear unable to separate their criminality from their spiritual beliefs.

Kumina (also spelled Cumina) is a religious group, which originated in Congo, West Africa, and was brought to Jamaica by the free Africans, who came here between the 1840s and 1860s. It is strongly believed that Kumina expresses the strongest African retention of Jamaican folk culture, and provides us with powerful clues about the religions and social practices of out African ancestors.

A member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Stephanie Se-Ember Terungwa, who was declared missing in Abuja has been found dead.

The deceased family said Ms Terungwa was last seen on Thursday morning, April 14, 2022, at Lokogoma area of Abuja.

Salemgists learnt that Stephnie who is based in Makurdi, Benue state graduated from Microbiology and is undergoing her NYSC in the FCT.

A source told salemgists that her body was discovered and she was murdered in her NYSC uniform, her private parts were also removed.

HARARE, Zimbabwe — Two Congolese nationals who claim to be devil worshippers say they have been unjustly jailed in Zimbabwe for wanting to practice their cult in the southern African nation.
The men said they have been held in a Harare prison for a year awaiting deportation after they asked to be allowed to form a “church to worship Satan” at a refugee camp in southeastern Zimbabwe.

A group of six people who conspired to abduct a child, who they claimed was the victim of satanic ritual abuse, have been jailed.

Anke Hill, 51, Jane Going-Hill, 60 and Kristine Ellis-Petley, 58, had previously admitted the charges.

Wilfred Wong, 53, Janet Stevenson, 67, and Edward Stevenson, 69, were found guilty after a month-long trial.

Sentencing them at Caernarfon Crown Court, Judge Nicola Jones said they had "acted as vigilantes".

While fame and fortune are an ever-enticing dream, few things seem less appealing than being a child star, and HBO’s Showbiz Kids (premiering July 14) certainly reinforces that feeling. Awash in anecdotes about the ways in which the industry—and the attendant hunger for the spotlight that consumes both children and parents—warps, alienates and exploits kids, it’s a documentary which illustrates that, sometimes, being nobody is far healthier, and more fulfilling, than being well-known.

Sexual misconduct is the dark cloud hovering over Showbiz Kids, and it comes to the fore when former Diff’rent Strokes star Todd Bridges recalls being molested as a child—a disclosure that, according to Evan Rachel Wood, isn’t unique, as she claims, “In my experience, I know a lot of kids that grew up in the industry. And what surprised me when I got older was finding out that pretty much all of the young men were abused in some way, sexually.” She then relays that, at a recent Golden Globes gala, she watched a pedophile (whom she doesn’t name) win an award, and had to walk out because she was so disgusted by the praise being lavished upon this monster. As she departed, she thought to herself, “I don’t know if I can do this anymore. I can’t keep watching this happen. I don’t know how to handle this. This has to stop.”

In nearly two decades as a foreign correspondent, I covered stories of mass graves in far-flung locations in Eastern Europe and Russia. The thought of them has remained lodged in my memory.



But never did I expect to be covering a mass grave from modern times on my own doorstep; I thought Western and Northern Europe was immune from such horrors.

Yet that is exactly what I came across in January this year in the small Irish town of Tuam in County Galway, an ugly place with its rundown streets and council estates.
