There are many arms of Terrorism such as the Sponsors/financiers,the beneficiaries,the victims,the guarantors and the operations,logistics and the rewards of terror gained by the terrorists.
Terrorism only became a business in Nigeria when Bokoharam stopped it's bombing and then began taking captives in 2012.
The religious arm of it all was the planned Islamic caliphate in the name of taking up territories and Lands from the attacked communities.
The youths were recruited due to the failire of some state government to provide jobs for them after their education.
Don't be fooled the first leader of bokoharam was a university graduate who became a victim of the state governments failure in keeping it's promises to him.

Either for or against any of the above,terrorists have an ideology which may be political,religious,cultural or traditional.

Clearly,terrorism began it's infiltration in Nigeria's security apparatus because the government were not financing and sponsoring the security forces to the extent they had to do.
Low morale among the army became the order of the day.

Those who were creating the problem were the sem ones procuring a soultion that failed to materialize sacrificing all the Patriots among the security apparatus
The top brass of the military allegedly became compromised in the war against terror when they wanted to benefit from the $1billion dollars security fund earmarked for the counter insurgency operations against Terrorism.
Rather than fight and allow the weapons to be given to the armed forces,they began to collude with the terrorists themselves giving them location of the armed forces and logistics which resulted in the loss of hardened battle patriotic commandoes sacrificed in the theatre of operations
If the armed forces were better armed and operations not compromised,perhaps the war against insurgency and terror would have been over since.
It just didn't happen,then all of a sudden we see that things now began to spiral out of control when terrorism was used to discredit an administration.
When this current administration came in,it finalized the destruction of the security apparatus finally.
This occured with the inclusion of the so called repentant bokoharam memebers who were trained by the armed forces and incorporated into the Army.
Day in day out,we continued to hear news of bokoharam terrorists repenting .
Then after this the war assumed a dangerous dimension when there were bokoharam sympathizers amongst he local residents who hiused them and protected them from the Armybecause of cases if gross fundamental human rights abuse perpetrated by the Nigerian Army.
There were many battles fought from 2012 2020,but one thing that is common is that the war against Terrorism became a business when things became political in nature.
The financiers and sponsors of terrorism were the same people who came out to criticize the government.
From one armed group and sect to another and counter groups and sets with various Motives vegan to arise.
This is why terror has continued to thrive!!!
Just as the American government says it doesn't negotiate with terrorists.
Our government was the first to grant Amnesty to terrorists
Our government is the first to give terrorists a national pardon.
Sometimes ,I wonder when this terror would end.
However,iam not expecting any miracle because there is a lot of conflict of interests in the war against terror and insincerity and the dogged political will to end such acts of terror.
