This is getting interesting. If Tinubu is not greedy he will just step down for prof Yemi.

Igbos won't vote for Tinubu and if he was wise be will accept this fact. Igbos are more likely to vote for Professor Yemi and the northerners will vote for him too.

If Tinubu insists and bribes his way through, he will lose to Atiku. And flatly.

Aspiring for a political office is not a greed, it is the right of every constitutionally eligible Nigerian including your humble self.. It is good for Democtratic provided the process will be transparent & fair to all the Aspirants.. The transparency & the upholding of internal Democracy in the political parties is all we should advocate for.

If there is anybody that can tell us that he was not allowed to work as vice president, it is atiku abubakar.

Obasanjo his boss fought him hard and limited him.

VP Osinbajo would have been in office for eight years by next year. Opportunities should be given to other Nigerians to be elected into the office as well. I feel the Presidency should be zoned to the south east zone for equity and fair play.

I have a very big problem with Osibanjo's declaration.

The declaration for Presidency by Osibanjo is borne out of nothing but greediness. C'mon, this man has been in Aso rock for almost 7 years and spent about 1 of it being the President.

Isn't it obvious to him that Nigeria is fundamentally unfixable. To fix Nigeria, there are some harsh, unpopular policies that need to be executed and promoted nationwide. One of them is : to aggressively slow down population growth. Another is : coming to realization that Nigeria is not a very rich country, and taking active steps to foster industrialization so that taxation can be more aggressive.

Osibanjo himself knows he can't fix Nigeria, who is he deceiving?

A person who has never held any position of authority in Aso rock can still pardoned for thinking they can fix Nigeria on the basis of ignorance.
You made excellent and incisive points

What candidate would you like to see become President ?

Ok, the battle line is drawn!

The die is cast!

Osinbajo has crossed the Rubicon!

It has now come to the stage of dog eat dog!

This is why politics is called a dirty game
characterized by intrigues, backstabbing, outright betrayals and other vices imaginable.

The arrival of Osinbajo in the fray would certainly stir up the hornet's nest
in the SW.

The so-called Omoluabi crooners would certainly be put to test in the coming days, weeks, months and, perhaps, years to come.

Well, well, well!

Interesting times lie ahead!

Either of them will make the country proud. Its not a consensus election, so let the best man win.

Peace !!!

I don't hide my preferred candidate.

Peter obi is who I am voting for.
If you are serious about this country, you should campaign for him too.

Hopefully he wins the primaries.

You've said it all but the most important of your points is our population issue.
Why our leaders have never made curtailing population growth a topic is still beyond me. I know due to religion and some traditions it's seems to be an unpopular opinion but we just have to accept that we are outgrowing our resources at a very fast rate, that's if we've not already outgrown it cos i don't see any wonderful government policies that can be able to lift 80% of our current poor population out of poverty in the nearest future.

Our population is one of our biggest problems after bad governance and the worst is that the majority of births each year is from the poorest in the country
Re: Why I Am Running For President - Osinbajo Declares For 2023 by Bestbeelieve: 8:51am On Apr 11, 2022
i agree to disagree with you my friend! with the present situation of things in this country i agree with population control. ie with the present situation assuming nothing changes! but i disagree if you say size n age has something to do with it
were we not at par with indonesia, malaysia etc now they have left us behind. simple electricity we cannot generate! The structure of the country the way it is ....is guaranteed to fail! thats why all the billions millions for TAM cannot yield any result!

Awoleesu:

Oga, population density is a function of space and its effects, a function of the flow of resources...
You think our population isn't more than India's and China's, but have you taken the size/age of these countries into consideration as compared to ours?
What about the per capita income and distribution of wealth (especially China)?

That guy you quoted made a sound judgement per economic sense and his statement is rich in the taste of forecasting...

Igbo people of Nigeria were ranked as the most intelligent tribe of black Africa in a US academic report .

Dr. Onu initiated the first moves to create the first political parties merger as the only and most viable way to defeat PDP in the 2015 general election. Many did not see the possibilities that he saw long before he made his first moves. They doubted him. But they were soon to think along with him when they started seeing what he saw long before them. As the possibilities opened up due to his realistic, systematic and pragmatic approaches,

Believing strongly in his dreams, Onu opened discussions with Buhari of the CPC. They exchanged ideas and ideals. They worked on the opportunities that a merger presented and soon agreed that Onu’s ANPP and CPC could work together. But there was another issues, how to bring South-West into the merger. At the time, the South-West was firmly in the grips of AC, owned by Bola Tinubu. Onu led the charge. Talks opened. Onu remained positive on the outcomes. He saw opportunities where some conservative allies saw roadblocks. He did not relent. Soon, AC collapsed into the merger and APC was born. The rest of the story is captured in Dr. Onu’s book. Onu was strategic to the formation of APC. He provided a template that turned the party into a mass movement, which enveloped Nigeria and offered hope. The rest, as they say, is history.

Tinubu spent 35 billion to make Buhari President.

All progressive Congress, APC Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken a huge swipe at President Mohammadu Buhari, describing him as an ingrate on whom he spent over N35 billion to make president.

Fact.

#IstandwithOsibanjo he is the Man forget about what anybody is saying the party he is now might be corrupt, remember white pap came out from black pot.some said but he's the VP and part of this present Government but seems not to do anything to help the Country most of us forgot that sometimes ago when PMB travelled & Osibanjo did some work that everyone likes then what happened when his came back he reversed the good work the VP did in his absence.again look @ npower program when Osinbajo was coordinating it the scheme is not has worst as this,Npower beneficiaries were given tablets paid their salaries and things are going smoothly all I see is just to look for ways to tarnish the image of VP so that people will see him as failure but no matter what some good people out there knew that VP is really trying his best.my prayer is that if he's the will of God to be Nigeria next President no one can stop him.all we want in Nigeria is perfect will of God.God bless Nigeria
