Don’t mind those quoting you. Most of them have never run a business or have to pay salary. Imagine business not doing well, in this present Nigeria, where companies spend all their revenue running diesel, still salary is being paid and then you see one employee not doing what he’s supposed to do.

Most employees go to work just for the sake of it, it’s none of their business, it is literally NOT their business, so they can afford to be careless.

Every company have her work ethics, some are tougher than others. Some requires you to put in extra effort. I am also an employee, me and other staff, we put in so much hours that the MD called a meeting and literally asked us to tone it down. Nothing beats having a team of people you can trust to do their job when you are not around.

We understood it was a trying time for the company and we all needed to put in our very best. You think nobody is seeing you, eyes are seeing if you are a hard worker or a mediocre, don’t get mad when you are treated accordingly.

He delayed a job and tagged it “just”. “Just because a job got delayed”, at what cost? What’s the cost on the company for that delayed job? A lost client? Lost revenue? What’s the implication of that delayed job? And you are angry that the CEO is upset? The whole write up reeks of entitlement.
