Recent World events brings back memories of Pre-war Era, prior to WW2, a global war, which featured significantly large number of casualties, and whose impact defined the modern world we live in today. (read more about WW2 here).

All of a sudden, the world is back to Pre-war era, this is “an era before a war” war machines are being built at a pace never seen, since the end of the Cold war between USA, and Soviet-union/Russia, nations are forging security and strategic alliances, sanctions like have never been heard in modern times, are being declared.

Movements of war equipment, and tightening of the economy by the state, withholding money and increasing interest rates(all in a bid to have ready liquidity and disposable assets), to fund a seeming oncoming inferno, between Russia, Europe and the US. As we all know war requires high liquidity, as nations diverts huge amounts of funds to building new advanced military equipment, so, yes the war contributes to high interest rates being witnessed in most economies of the world right now, due to monetary policies being imposed by banks, working under instructions of the central banking authority, usually controlled by the State.

European nations, UK and America being allies under NATO, while Russia seem to have formed pacts with China, Belarus, and a host of South American nations, Russia has also successfully cajoled strategic nations, like India, Pakistan, and others to stay neutral. Russia has been able to do this, due to its rich energy and gas resources, being a key supplier of refined petroleaum, AGO, and gas products across Europe, Arab, South American, and Asian nations.

Russia indeed has a hold of many nations drive for production, and innovation/development for their economies, because, for now, fossil fuels is still the main fuel being used, to power factories, industrial plants, and manufacturing units the world over, hence most nations will want to keep it friendly with Russia, to have a continuous steady supply of high quality fossil fuel products, to keep moving their economy forward. As we all noticed prices of diesel(AGO) increased by almost 400% ever since the war erupted, this is just one of the effect of the war on us all.

The world powers must start making conciliatory moves, more dialogue and compromise, Africa must play it's role in the dialogue efforts, because when the war erupts, Africa won't be spared.

You have a point, as long as they stay aligned with UK and Europe/NATO they sure will, but Russia is gradually spreading it's dominance, having India and China as allies, these two countries have almost 3billion people, Russia supplies them oil and gas product's, looking at the numbers Russia is not far off economically.

Definition of another era. USA and allies are having meeting today because they have seen that all their efforts, from sanctions to military aid is a failure. Now they are looking for a way to enter the conflicts, since they don't want peaceful way of ending the conflicts. Well this war will be different and more catastrophic for Europe and North America. Let their stupidity keep increasing.

Africa has her own problems. Terrorist sponsored by NATO and allies ravages Africa, from the Sahara belts to Congo basins. Ethiopia has been at war, Libya has been at war Nigeria has been battling boko haram and insurgency in the East. Cameron has her own troubles. Same with central African Republic, congo Kenya somalia etc. Africa Will never get involved in slave dealers, nazist and white supremacist affairs. You can't conclude that the terrorist are sponsored from the West. Isil, Iswap, bokoharam are terrorists that have their indoctrination and ideology on radical islamic ideology. They are not founded by the West.

Yes you are right, but they buy from Russia too, more exports for Russia, leads to more funds for weapons.
