Exactly what I have been thinking but sentiment makes some people to believe it is a strategy to cut Tinubu to size. If Tinubu becomes the president, all these people shouting "Pee Poo" should be ready to share the blame rather than looking to shift the blame on others who chose to vote for him. You can't insult someone's father and expect the son to clap for you even though he despises his father too. We have been hearing Tinubu this, Tinubu that, but these people will not come out to sell their own candidates but rather resort to mudslinging.

APC is trying to raise money legally. Just make everyone declare, buy form, raise money for the party, then elect their candidate in the primaries.

Going at this rate, they can raise billions legally.

Besides this, there is no other explanation for this because all these guys declaring are from all zone. Imagine Emeka Nwajuiba and Dimeji Bankole buying form, no way in hell will these guys for example ever win the primaries.

Another argument that can go with this could be that these guys will get paid more by candidates coz they anticipate they will step down for him when in the primaries. But even this logic is debatable because a strong candidate will not pay bogus amount for someone who don’t have the party structure in their hand. Why should one pay Dimeji Bankole for example, how many delegates can he control in Ogun.
