Make sure you dedicate a good number of hours daily to eating the materials you will find there.

That group has been a blessing to me.

Best of luck.

Meet people and see life!

You have not seen people working in big companies and they are still broke.

It's not digital skills,it's their mindset.
If you're Soo good in digital skill, they will be begging you for jobs.

Stop saying RUBBISH.

Btw,what will you suggest people learn!
We're waiting to hear what you want them to do so far digital skill is not it.

fk001:
They will come with their usual " learn digital skill/web designing rubbish"

I know so many people that are good in Web designing and other digital skills but yet they are jobless.

Please what digital skills do you have? and is Web designing same thing as Web development?

To answer your question Kriss, Web development is quite different from WEB DESIGN. in the sense that, in web development, you have to develop the website from scratch using web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JAVASCRIPT.

learning web development is quite hard, and takes time (Probably a year or two) to become proficient in your skills as a web developer.

As for WEB DESIGN, you don't develop the website from scratch but rather, you use available tools to develop a website. These tools are mostly CMS (Content management system). Examples of content management systems are WordPress, Shopify, Joomla, BBpress, Presta, Wix e.t.c.

Becoming a web designer doesn't take much time as it is quite easy to learn and master the craft. i will give an estimate of 3 months in order to become proficient as a web designer.

Even though some people still interchange web developers and web designers (Sometimes people confuse them for UI/UX designers), these are the differences between them.

Yes, but mostly as a freelancer. That is, you can't be employed as a programmer.

You'll have to source out clients yourself.

My advice for Young folks is learn digital skills and start free lancing, the sky is your limit.

I am a health professional earning little less than #200k per month, my friend dropped out, learn Web designing and he is making at least a million per month on upwork. The money in his account is at least 10 times my own.

Digital skills is the way.

I
#50k, #100k work per month, won't make you comfortable, it will just make you not beg to eat.

I have been Thinking of leaving medical school to freelance fully...But I am scared
