Our first full-length trailer at House of the Dragon is finally here. The Game of Thrones prequel-sequel/ spin-off (depending on what you choose to call it), even though many might not want to admit this, is hotly on the list of the most anticipated TV show for the year 2022.

We have a premiere date – August 21, 2022 on HBO Max.

And now, we also have our first full-length trailer.

Set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones, the series tells the story of a turbulent period for House Targaryen, one that set sibling against sibling and dragon against dragon. The point of contention: who should rule on the Iron Throne, of course.

House of the Dragon arrives three years after Game of Thrones aired its controversial series finale. Although some fans might be skeptical about joining on this new adventure lest it ends disappointingly again I’m confident the franchise still has enough goodwill to inspire a legion of watchers when it eventually premieres in August.
