I track ABS3 3w but there is no channel name, what am seing is TV1 to TV33 that contains the channels which is on that TP, am using srt 4922A with latest software and my signal quality is 75%, pls i want to know is it general, cos i track that sat last two weeks and the channel name was in place.

Yes for abs3 and ses5, but NILESAT will crack if you don't hit 66, so I will advice you to use a very good lnbf for your NILESAT.

@ chinedu.i tried it on dstv blue dish i succeeded in making abs my primary.and.attached ses 5 at d bottom but failed to get 7 west i tried and tied.where do u think my mistake is.my 7west was at d top right standing at d back of d dish bend it a little still nothing

pls boss I like to understand something, I tracked ses5 with d help of info from this forum, I couldn't merge abs though but my que is I didn't get MBC on my ses5, is it not on ses5?

A lot of people here are calling Eutelsat 7 west Nilesat. Eutelsat 7 west satellite is different from Nilesat though they are at the same position. The transponder that is hosting MBC on Nilesat is 11938 V 27500 while Eutelsat 7 west (NWA beam) is 11559 V 27500. MBC on Nilesat is receivable with nothing less than 2.4m dish except at the northern Nigeria but Eutelsat 7 west (NWA beam) is receivable with 90cm. So let not mislead any one here.

track ses5 with tp 12015, making sure you get to the point where your signal tends to drop if you shift your dish further to the right ( standing at the back of dish) , after youve gotten the best elevation. you then tighten your dish very well n d lnb for ses5.
You, thereafter attach another lnb just like we use to have for 36east ( pry) & 28.2east.

so, yes to your question.
