I wasn't talking about your presence on the thread, we have been here together since season 1. I come here too at least twice a day, sometimes more, But how disheartening can it be when you clearly stated that a patch was for 63x and some folks are still asking whether they could load it on 69x etc. and more than 3 pages of email address submission.

It also beats my imagination that we steal (dongle & Cline) and we are still proud of it only trying to justify our actions by a theory of we were ripped off by the providers in the first place. I am guilty too.

I must say that I have learnt so much from this free to air thread and I am will to know more and as well pass it over to the new comers too.

My question here is, is it possible to track off print birds with my sizes of dish when used with an HD lnb or is there a particular lnb that has high signal quality.

The Lagos State Government on Tuesday, shut down the head office of Multi Choice, Nigeria, owners of DSTV Cable Television over unremitted tax of about N150 million.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the office was shut down by officials of the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS), after the organisation failed to remit the money to the government.

Special Adviser to the Lagos state governor on Taxation and Revenue, Bola Shodipo who confirmed the closure said that the action was carried out to make the outfit fulfill its obligation to the government.

Mr Shodipo who expressed displeasure at the rampant indebtedness of organisations in taxes said the practice was undermining the revenue generation drive of the government.

He said the State Government would pursue companies who failed to voluntarily honour the payment of their tax bills, to make them comply.

The Special Assistant, however, said that discussions were going on between the government and officials of Multi Choice over the issue, saying the government might consider early re-opening of the office if the tax was remitted.

Please let as try to learn the right thing.There is nothing like an HD lnb.HD is just a format for video processing or video delivery.Any normal lnb with a compatible HD receiver will pick HD channels.The manufacturers play on our ignorance and lack of willingness to research to just write anything on their lnb boxes.You may even see an lnb that has a noise figure of 0.1,0.2 and 0.3 all on one box.All these things are just extreme deceptions aimed at either keeping us confused or always in the dark.Let me state and you can quote me anytime that the result of a higher gain of any dish is directly proportional to the size of the dish,the accuracy of the dish mold,the delicate and careful assembly of the dish itself and the unique tracking technique that will be employed by any installer at any given time.(I challenge anyone who thinks otherwise to disprove me). If you have an lnb that has passed all the recommended quality assurance tests of the basic DRO lnbs,you will always come out with the same results.(This however does not apply to PLL lnbs which are far more advanced,expensive and truthfully will not even be considered by the regular African sat hobbyist)

you have said it all. I am very much on your side.
Why would  they not be deceived, when they would not research, or learn basics before jumping to higher level.
As for the new comers being asked to go and google search, I tell you that will help you more than just waiting to get a straight answer which might just lead you astray. Go learn the basics first I beg of you.
I know that no question is silly but they provoke silly response. Take your time and learn from the lots of post made already

I wanted to post an article of the workings of these LNBs but the concepts are a bit technical and complicated i might end up confusing most people in the long run.I'll therefore ask you guys to give me a day or two to properly prepare an easy to understand article of the workings and advantages of these LNBs.However if any one else is eager to know how these LNB's look like or maybe their market prices,you can look up Norsat Ku PLL LNBs or New Japan Radio Ku PLL LNBs online.Norsat has been in the market for over 30yrs and New Japan Radio has been in the market for over 50yrs.Hope to finish the article soon.

may be norsat pll ku lnbs are very good ,but the input frequency of norsat pll lnbs are not practical at all .a typical universal lnb input frequency is from 10.7-12.75 GHZ, but norsat lnb hardly range from 10.7 t0 12.75 GHZ.check specifications,on the other hand it is very expensive, that includes the smw pll lnb.

It's good to be critical and observant but i categorically stated 2 manufacturers why just look at only one?!Anyway,try looking at the specs of the NJR2843S or the NJR2843E.Both are products of New Japan Radio Co Ltd.I'm sure it'll have what was missing in the Norsat PLL LNBs(It seems they just want to optimize their profits thereby separating the low and high frequency LNBs).Anyway,as for the Prices i already told you they are very expensive so i don't know why you were still emphasizing.Good things cost more you know.
