The ka band operates at higher band frequency range of (18-22.20 Ghz)....for you to use ka band higher band frequency on your receiver...Lnb lo frequency on your receiver should be set at example..21.20 Ghz or 21200 Mhz etc,depending on lnb LO frequency ...at this time you can determine..if your receiver can operate ka band frequencies...and u need ka lnb for this..cheers

Arabsat5c and clues to receive it have been very much discussed here. You could get the channels from there. For aljazeera, use 4055h27500. You may be interested on watching live matches, use 3964v30000 for Irib. Blind scan to receive Saudi channels with some islamic channels.

please can anyone help me out here, I want to know if just a dstv lnb without the decoder can work with a multitv decoder? I have a multitv decoder which I use for 2 dishes and lnb's that's one Joytv which isn't working now only the multitv is working I intend changing the joytv to dstv is it possible and pls what do I need?

Dish and Lnb do not have any restrictions. You can use Multi Tv one for Dstv and vice versa.
