I'm really sorry for not have written the trasponder, it escaped my mind. 3811 R 4300 is for the new channels and Thomson Reuters is 3906 R 7200. Thanks.

Dolpaz ,if etv south africa is transmitting on intelsat 7/10 and once in a while you are able to watch etv on sirus 4e when their is any live matches going on intelsat 7/10 68.5e by etv south africa at the same time on sirus 4e you can tell anybody that their is etv feed on sirus 4.i hope you know what feed means now.

Whatz happenin to mbc these days,it has lost signal for the past 2 dayz now despite other channels in high percentage(75%).pls is anybody experiencing this too.i use 90cm.

That is how those MBC channels are behaving these days. Before, they were so stable. But now ,

can i make use of ctl card on strong decoder? and how do i track,wot is the frequency for ctl.can i use a 2.4comstar dish to track ctl or must it be a yagi antenna.

SRT 4930 v. SRT 4910 SOFTWARES
After updating to S/W Version: 1.17p (Oct 17 2011) my SRT 4930 now records in TS format instead of the original TRP format. The problem is that recordings done on SRT 4930 can no longer be played on SRT 4910 (SW 2.46p Sep 22 2011) which still records in TRP format. On the other hand SRT 4910 recordings in TRP format can be easily played back on SRT 4930 without any problem. Now when you record with SRT 4930 you get 6 files viz: TS, PRV, IDX, DVD Info, & MS Office Access Add-in (2 files). SRT 4910 (SW 2.46p Sep 22 2011) still records in TRP format with 3 files viz: TRP, IDX, & DVD Info. Is there any new software update for SRT 4910 that updates its recording capability to TS format?

Have you tried SRT4910_247p_20111004.zip? may be it has the update you are looking for. I don't have Srt 4910 so bear with me.

If you've read past posts on the forum you'd have gotten your response. I guess that must have been the reason why the ignore button became useful to those who may have ventured out to give you a reply.
However, I guess with your 2.4m pan you can hit either of both birds conveniently although many stress on the fact that to be on the safe side, 3m will give you more leverage since bigger means better. had it been that your 2.4m was a mesh dish, you've had more problems with it. So, why not pick up the tracking frequencies from Lyngsat and go to work on the birds and tell us how you fare? Or, better still read back posts and see what the maestros have done with the tips on how to search. you can even do a search on the forum on Nilsesat101/102/201 or badr4/5/6 installations
