Odilibe, pls where is the position of this Yamal @ 54.9E. Is it close to Multi TV or Amos 5?

..track 68.5east then raise the dish up for yamal!with 90cm dish yamal_54.9east is @-13.6° above mytv at 68.5°east! or between dstv at 36°east and mytv@68.5east!

I tracked with motorised 2.4m mesh dish the closest sat is setv/bwtv(east Africa beam) of nss12@57°east Ku band!I.e -2.1° above nss12@57east

Thanks for your prompt responses Odilibe & Blexxonmak. I will try d tracking with my 2.4m Wiremesh dish

house good evening.the guru in d house i did as instruted.i track 22west and i got 97%.but im findng i difficult to track nilesat anyway i think m lnb is giving me problem.maybe truely it is not good on pan dish.i will try and get echosat lnb from one of d guru in the house.may be it will make m job easier.advice or contibution is welcomed.thanks one love

there are twelve channels receivable on Yamal 402.9°E...African beam presently. Eight channels are free but only two channels are interesting which are GLOW TV and Lesotho Television but you can check the link below for more details.

..the dish is poorly made,assuming you tracked the sat properly...a 2.4m dish can get 98% on 22west!..97% signal quality on old strong receivers gives 87% that is if you tracked the sat with newer strong receiver..that means the signal is poor....getting another lnb won't solve the problem!

thanks for d response.im just tired.im usng strong 4930.i will send pics of d dish.i c if the house could c where i got it wrong.imagine 10992 on ab7 is giving me 68%.although d maker told dat the lnb m using will not work well with pan dish.i have invested alot of money on this dish.d maker is one of the best.i dont know if the faulth is from me.m realy fustrated.

that dish from faithchild look like the one Ikiriye used before and if so it means that Faithchild is doing something wrong especially from the focal length... I think he is not getting the accurate focal length or that the dish was not well plumbed.

Don't be frustrated. U need patience to handle Big Dish.
1 get ur focal length right
2 ensure u are using a prime focus lnb
3 ensure u point ur lnb at the center of the dish

thank u for d encouragement i track 22west again i got 98%.the lnd is this stargold lnd.the silver long type. not all sat i tried dat it could read.im trying to send pic of d dish

"well the lnb arm should have guide it close to the focal point" ..while adjusting lnb will only give it the correct focal point!..

I've been able to track 36e, astra 2f and Amos 5/Eut 16 but every effort to get Sea 5 and 7e has so far proved abortive pls help with the easiest tps and procedure to lock down these two sats especially ses 5. Thanks in advance.

4 sec 5 use 12022 VorH 29946 to track it, 4 7e ao many metre dish u use
