I don't know how that Hitv receiver works and if it is programmed to accept diseqc switches. If it is, here is the general procedure for setting up diseqc switches. Go to where you choose your satellites, choose your satellite, then go to Diseqc 1.0 (if there is that option in your receiver). Choose number of port from 1 to 4 (any) on the option and save. Imagine that you have chosen port number 2, then connect your cable from chosen satellite to port number 2 on the diseqc switch. You repeat the procedure for the other satellite and make sure to give it its own number from the remaining ports. Hope this helps.

I rescanned intelsat 7/10 ku yesterday and got a feed with channel title unknown on srt 4329. The feed looks like etv feed like that on sirus. Did any one notice that.

Is any one in the house that has discover this. if yes kindly furnish me on what to do so that the stations can be showing. the frequency is under the frequency of TV Zimbo.

"the eutelsat 3c @ 3.1east was the old atlantic-bird 4a previously located at 7degrees west ,it is now moved to 3.1 east , with europe beam, previously atlantic -bird 4a satellite signals was very weak in west africa compared to nilesat 101/102 @7west, its footprint extended further  to cover more  european countries . Eutelsat 3c @ 3.1east not same as eutelsat w3c @16east

@ESTJOZI :-) i am currently out of my state. If your 12.722v 26.657 is at at least 74%, just use an mpeg4 decoder and do a blind scan and it will come in.

Lyngsat always takes time in updating their pages. Sometimes, they could be carrying an old info for months. Except satellite enthusiasts like us feed them with new info they may not be aware that things have changed on the ground.

Aljazeera is still very much within reach of those on 3m. You should know it was always a risk using 2.4m for Nilesat (and in the south-west for that matter). Your signals have been on the edge for a while and maybe its time you ugraded to something bigger. Don't you think?
