Hello my good people, we gather here again to do another beautiful work. We have been hired to renovate a couple of flats to modern standards. These flats were built in the 1980s but still looking good. However, the owners wants the flats touched up so they can conform to modern standards. No fancy finish styles, no expensive materials to be used, just get the building to today's standards. Our first task will be to remove all the old tiles in the flats, like I said, the conditions of this house is still very much okay, but just to make things come up to today's standards.

We also plan to remove the bath, change it with a shower unit and change the W/C units to new ones. The wall tiles will also be changed. 1 Share

We might not change these designed doors because they are still in good conditions, they only need some touches, painting, change of keys and general repairs........... The wall tiles in the bathrooms will be changed, the piping for water and waste redone to modern standards, hiding all the pipes inside the walls. We also plan a full floor to ceiling tiling work.

The electrical wiring in these flats were the surface wiring method, with tumbler switches. We intend to work on the walls to remove all the wires, and change this system to a conduit piping system. Note that all the electrical components in this house are still very functional, despite working for nearly 40 years. We just need modern switches, sockets, light fittings and bulbs.

My oga well done oh. Abeg quick question, like how much will be needed for a 2bedroom bq with sitting room, kitchen and 2baths? With titles in all rooms, roof etc . Just a rough estimate. Within the outskirts of Awka town. |

We have had to buy a roll of electrical wires and rewire this house, our target now is to provide air conditioning options, water heater options and other modern day fittings that were not included in this building as at the time it was constructed..........
