Borno elders my foot. Early dis yr aba in abia state was shutdown by kidnapper led by Osisikankwu, d military was brought in, and lives were lost, both innocent and guilty, till d locals decided to co operate by giving necessary infomations about the kidnappers, Osisikankwu was caught and killed, so also his men and aba was better for it, even as @  now, d military is still in aba. But in maiduguri d elders and locals are protecting this people.
How do u xpect the jtf to differentiate btw a local and a boko haram, since they wear no uniform or sign? And now they use even children to bomb,

Nigerians should press for these men to comment on Boko Haram. They are former Pres. Ibrahim Babangida, former Head of State, Gen. Buhari and former Vice Pres. - Atiku Abubakar. OPC, they are vigilante group protecting yorubas. They dont kill because of religion. They are not aggressive i.e. they dont cause trouble.

The military should take all measures to decimate Boko Haram ideally with minimal collateral damage. You do not fight terrorism with kid gloves. MEND terrorized the Niger delta while Osisikankwu and kidnappers terrorized the South East.

The military was brought in to restore order and they have been ruthlessly effective. They should do the same in Maiduguri albeit with minimal casualties.

So if they attack schools in Abuja, you will close schools, they attack churches, you cancel all Sunday masses,

I know military the General (Nwaogbo) is qualified to serve in any region of the sovereign domain of Nigeria.

His presence as the voice, face and authority in Maiduguri commanding force against Boko is a political suicide for Gej and for Nwaogbo's people, the Igbos.

The Boko problem is a political one first, before it is military.  The opposing force to it must wear a politically accessible face to move the talks and negotiations an inch forward and convince the enemy to buy-into it. 

They should feel any way they like, the General is simply doing his job. When restiveness were high at Niger delta region and when kidnapping/hostage were common at the East, The northern solders were deployed to that the zones and they control the affairs of the troops then.

Common sense should tell you that in this kind of situation you don't send someone to go and attack his tribe, either he will be sentimental and not perform the job effectively, or his family may suffer from his tribe men, because it will be in history that he was the person that headed the troop that destroyed his people.

He who brings home insect infested firewood, must have lizards as visitors. The elders have not seen nothing yet. It's the silence they kept in the face of evil that's coming back to haunt them.

Anytime I walk or sit near a northerner these days,am always very security conscious because he/she may have a bomb under his/her cloth.The fear of terrorist is the beginning of a safer Nigeria.
