The founder of Agidigbo FM, Ibadan, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat was on Thursday arrested by the police and subsequently whisked away to Abuja.

The information was contained in a Press Release issued by the Agidigbo FM management on their official Facebook Page available to SOJ WORLDWIDE (http://www.sojworldnews.com)

According to the signed message, Oriyomi was arrested by the police in connection with his persistent calls for justice over the alleged murder of Timothy Adegoke whose case is ongoing at the Osun State High Court, Osogbo.

They called on the general public to prevail on the Nigeria Police to release Oriyomi Hamzat immediately.

The Chief defendant, Dr Rahman Adedoyin in the case involving Timothy Adegoke’s case, had earlier this month petitioned the police to prosecute Oriyomi, Babagbade Imo, Woibile, and IJKFMB Music yard for alleged interference with judicial proceedings and for cyberbullying him.

Adedoyin, in his letter through his lawyer, Mr. Ahmed Aderoju, complained of criminal defamation, false alarm, incitement, false publication, cyberstalking, and criminal threat against him.

Timothy was allegedly murdered at the Hilton and Honours Hotel, Ile-Ife, owned by Dr. Rahman Adedoyin on November 6, 2021
