Psalms 146:5-10
Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them-- the LORD, who remains faithful forever. He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets prisoners free, the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous. The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the LORD. The question I will ask is, are we to live in fear or in faith?

Fear? CAPTIAL NO!

Our hope should be steadfast in the Lord who has bounded himself with an oath, so that we who have received the above scripture into our spirit could be perfectly sure that Our God would never change his mind. For his promises are unchangeable because it is impossible for the Lord to lie. For we know that those of us who have fled to him for refuge have great confidence as we hold on to the hope that lies before us.

However, this “hope” has to be STRONG because the enemy of our soul will try his best to break it. Like he did in the live of Job, the devil will try to put obstacles in our way. Fret not!

Hebrew 6:19-20
This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Jesus has already gone in there for us. HE has become our eternal High priest in the order of Melchizedek.

Meaning: as WE ask for anything in Jesus name, no principality, demonic power, in the whole wide world can hinder that which the Lord of host has already predestined to be OURS. Why? Because your request has already been taken into the inner sanctuary by Jesus Christ, our Lord.

I call it DONE DEAL!

OUR FOCUS.

1 Peter 1:17
And remember that the Heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favourites; He will judge and reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time as foreigners in the Land.

Which land?

As Christians, Heaven is where our hope lies. Our heavenly hope is the anchor for our soul because the source of our hope is the sustenance of our lives. Whether we live in fear or in faith depends upon our focus.

CONCLUSION

1 Peter 2:19
For the Lord is pleased with you when you do what you know is right and patiently endure unfair treatment.

The will of God is for us to live and do what is right before his eyes.
