The Grasshopper Has Broken His Hind leg.

In the world of winged animals, there was usually a dancing competition to choose who would head them.

There was a hawk on the throne, assisted by one grasshopper nominated by his senior brother, another hawk.
Time was for the hawk on the throne to leave for another winged animal to take over, as the headship was by rotation.

They asked the assisting grasshopper not to compete on the stage with his senior brother, the hawk, who was also interested in heading the colony.

At first, he was going to be a good winged animal, but some little flies goaded him on just because they also have wings.
One of them was a little grasshopper, which is actually a jumping bug (Alamutoto) by name Odujo.

This bug and other flies like houseflies and mosquitoes, spurred the grasshopper on against commonsense and morality.
Morality and good upbringing (omoluabi) capitulated to greed, treachery, ingratitude, and perfidy. The grasshopper entered the dancing floor.

On his first attempt to dance, he made a long tue-tue (microphone testing), as Fuji musicians are wont to do when they want to start a show.
In this frantic effort to impress the spectators that he could dance better than his senior brother, Hawk, he broke his hind leg.
Gush, the senior winged animal, winked and wondered with what will the grasshopper dance again.
