The minimum wage is the UK is £5.35 per hour and if you are on a student visa you can work a maximum of 20 hours per week. Hope this answers your question  |

it depends where u work the national minimum wage is £5.35 per hour but if you train as an health care assistant u can earn up to £8.50 - £12.50 per hour depending on experience |

udezij: I don't know about wales but in london there is a star nursing agency very close to university of greenwich London, u do the course for 3 weeks, 1 week for theory and the remaining 2 weeks u do in either a hospital, rehab or nursing home. You have to pay £150 for the course but i can assure you it is worth every penny. After the course they look for a job for u and you can recover the money (if u do long day before tax) in just a day when you start working. Good luck |

the health care job doesnt seem like a bad idea at all. Anyways, I guess I need to arrive first and get to know what my school shedule is lkike before getting into all that stuff. can anyone tell me if 400 pounds is enuf money to get into london with on a student visa, studying in central london, but living in the north east (pitfield). how long can i go on that. also am i gonna have problems with immigaration if i go with my laptop from here? |
