The Memorial Service held in honour of the 40 people who lost their lives at St Francis Catholic Church on Sunday, June 5 is holding now. This event is taking place at Boje Ibidapo Signature, Mydas Resort and Hotel, Ikare Road.

Over 40 killed, with about 70 sustaining varying degrees of injuries.

21 corpses were brought to the church as others were still @ the FMC, Owo and will be ferried directly to the burial site on confirmation from the families.

Most of those names are Igbo. So it’s true that most of the victims killed in the attack were igbos. Well, I’m not playing the tribal card here, but can we all see the perpetrators were not even arrested or heard off again ??. Infact everyone has moved on like nothing happened. It’s really shameful and pathetic.

The mass burial will follow immediately at the New Catholic Cemetery, Otapete in Owo.

I was one of the person that was against voting the Buhari regime sadly a lot of people believed in him even the Father Mbaka.... Weeks after their death, not even the Father Mbaka can use his vision to avert this menace or even see the people responsible for this atrocities....
