Ibime:He initially stated $50billion, then revised further downwards, even you sef agree that the downward figure sef doesnt add up, so for a whole CBN governor that was reckless, hence I believe he shouldnt be the one giving us sermon without much as an apology, his credibility is tainted - no where in the world he keeps his job. If he had integrity - he would have apologised immediately and tendered his resignation; even in the streets such inaccuracies led to plenty dead bodies. And regarding NNPC stealing money- shey na today yansh dey for back? Olowunl01: this is actually why tinubu is advocating for an ERP solution it would have been close to impossible to properly track what was being spent or mis managed when you have an editable trail and sometimes no trail at all. for all sanusis faults, we probably would not have come to this if he had been in the seat during the Buhari years |

You see people developing STEM in their indigenous language, then you decide to be condemning such people. And you still think you've a working brain? Even if I've such a web platform/portal, you think I'd actually post it here. No, I wouldn't. Just as I wouldn't share it and my other works with most of my relatives and friends. This is because of the problem of low intelligence of a typical African. Once they see anything like Isese, orisha (deities), and the likes, automatically, they'll tag that thing as evil and demonic and start doing everything in their power to bring it down. Some people are like viruses, cancers to good things that'd drive the advancement of society. Some people don't know the level of work, will, and mental effort it takes to embark on some projects. When you're doing some research projects about science in this part of the world involving the ATR adherents as an agnostic, you're well aware of the risks involved. Based on experience, you know there's a possibility you encounter one or two rare people that, before you meet them, they'd have been told beforehand in another realm by the past human, their ancestor they worship as an Orisha (deity), that you're coming. When you finally meet and discuss with them and share some of your posts on this forum about religion and science, and they send messages to you later on, you've to be able to defend yourself. Great African scientists of the past didn't view time chronologically as we modern humans do. They actually had a deeper understanding of time being just a mental construct. In the past, parts of Africa were more technologically developed than even the West of today. Today's science and technology, with all its wondrous achievements and feats, is still pale in comparison with the African science and technology of the past eras when civilizations built by the black Africans of the ancient Egypt, and some other parts of Africa were at the peak of their powers. While today's science and technology is focused on the material or physical aspects of nature we can see, African science and technology of the past human eras was more comprehensive and explored both the physical and unphysical aspects. While scientists of today have only been able to explore a tiny segment of the electromagnetic spectrum, the past African scientists explored a much larger part of the spectrum. When you see a human that can explore many parts of the EM spectrum, you'd think they're doing magic, juju, or supernatural feats and if your level of evolution is low, you'd start worshipping them as God. This is the origin of things like juju, the supernatural, religion, and the likes. Fortunately, today's scientists are now exploring unphysical aspects of nature. Even Oyinbo and Arab peoples fear African science and technology because they know parts of Africa were highly developed technologically in the past. That's why they do everything in their power to destroy African cultures and traditions and replace them with theirs. Mumu Africans also aid these foreign peoples to destroy their own scientific and cultural heritage. When you want to do scientific research in some parts of Africa involving the ATR adherents, if you don't have some deep knowledge, courage, and will, some of those people can mess up your soul and psyche. There's no juju involved. It's science. For Africa to grow, it's highly important for people to develop STEM in their native language and culture. |

Ibime: But the damage was done by the fictitious $50B sum. He cannot plead ignorance. He knew exactly what he was doing when he spouted that figure. Needless to say, that mismanagement excuse is pure capping. The CBN recently revealed they'd not received sales revenue from the NNPC going back to August 2022. Should Shonubi announce that $50B is missing? Should Powell say $1T is missing because the Pentagon has never passed an audit? Should every Central Bank governor in the world start promulgating imaginary numbers under the guise of criticism. GEJ should have locked Sanusi up for the remainder of his term for that stunt he pulled. That stunt by the way is why successive governments will, without exception, keep him at arms length. Dude is a walking grenade. -Lord 4 Likes |

Oasis003: Recklessly! I laugh. As much as I like Obasanjo he should just stop at this point. Buhari can point to what he did with the loan. Is something we can all see (infrastructure) No president has invested more in our military like Buhari. Under Obasanjo, Nigeria took the first highest external loan in 1978. 1 billion US dollars from the the International Capital Market. In 2004 our total external debt was almost 36 billion dollars. In 2007 Paris Club Debt Relief and exit from the London Club brought our external debt to 3+ thousand million US dollars. Under Obasanjo, our domestic debt increased in billion of US dollars. In the first quarter of 2015, our external debt was 9+ thousand million dollars. In the first quarter of 2023, our outstanding external debt was 40+ thousand million dollars. During Buhari's time, the world encountered two global economic crises. The Covid 19 economic crises in 2020 and the global economic crises in 2016. Sanusi should know better because he was the CBN governor in 2009. The world experienced economic crises in 2008. In 2008, our foreign exchange reserves was almost 60 billion US dollars. Nigeria spent 20 billion of our foreign exchange reserves to absorb the shock of that crisis. Had it been there was not enough foreign exchange reserves, what would have happened? Nigeria total external debt is the combination of FG and states. Nigeria total domestic debt is the combination of FG and states. |

GloriousGbola: Sanusi would have bent the knee or be served Kuje beans. Emefiele's actions were to avoid the Onnoghen treatment. Buhari is a socialist. Cheap naira, cheap fuel, and social programs are immutable pillars of his economic vision. Anyone who did not subscribe to that viewpoint would have gotten the boot. -Lord |

GloriousGbola: Not when we are talking about $50billion, this is Madoff level fraud you think those orgs don't have ERP? Oyinbo to se pencil lo se eraser You think naija corruption is due to lack off audit trail or paper trail? Not when millions of dollars are involved. The problem I believe is the sheer number of gatekeepers that have been compromised, weak institutions.. whereby those with integrity are outliers an example is what happened in lagos where an exposed corrupt Obasa was refusing to confirm Dr. Abayomi, what does such actions say to those who take their work seriously? I shudder at the amount of data we collect in Naija and available to goverment to fight fraud, we just choose not to use it. 2 Likes |

monerozi5590: This ur Buhari fanaticism has reached an all time high! Just last week Tinubu's newly appointed minister stated the last time Nigeria's economy experienced growth was before Buhari became the president. (which is a fact) The "Economist" Sanusi u always refenced warned Buhari's government that only investment in the economy could bring about Economic growth and not recklessly amassing debts that will be invested in infrastructure that will not yield any economic benefit . He didn't listen . Sanusi saw the future when he asked: Your citizens will ride on a train and when u ride on a train, in northern Nigeria, in a state like Kano or Katsina, where are u going to? U are not going to an industrial estate to work . U are not going to school? U are not going to farm. U borrow money from China to invest in trains so that ur citizens can ride on them and go to weddings and naming ceremonies Now Obasanjo is saying the truth which we've always known while u were busy clapping for Buhari borrowing the country broke; , u are now saying Obasanjo doesn't know what he's saying ....Smh There are points u can use to drag Obj(Like the investment in Power sector that never yielded positive result till date), but the issue of debt is definitely not one. The same Obj that travelled all over the world to have Nigeria's debt forgiven ? 3 Likes |

BlueRayDick: Buhari, the worst president Nigeria will ever have. Like Oluwon would always say, any of the 3 presidential candidates are better options than that failure of a leader. Even Tinubu that rode on his horse, have dissociated himself from Buhari, when he saw the rot in the system. An APC minister is even telling us that the last time we had economic growth was under Jonathan. I don't think any president can be as worse as Buhari, either living or dead. 11 Likes |

There should be an actual diagnosis for schizophrenia, megalomania, and self-hate at a go. "Africans are dull! Africans are stûpid! Africans have low intelligence and are slâves!" Cool story. Now show us something you've done to ameliorate the "dire" situation we've found ourselves. Nope! He prefers a thesis. Theories, criticism, and more. No substance. It's akin to those who'd criticize electoral processes but never take part in actual canvassing and voting, but would continually insult their countrymen who even make attempts to then ghost when you ask for evidence of them voting. Actual Africans who are doing the work to salvage the situation are humbled by the enormity of what's before them. You've had 18 hours to contemplate and the only thing you could counter with is the same thing you're being hammered for - theories without practical applications by yourself.
