I know English is not hard.
And before you start lying your ass off and passing it as the gospel.

Obi said the infrastructure stolen is critical.
Not the bridge itself is critical.
They are two different things😁

Make you nor dey see white call am black.

Thankfully it was highlighted

How is it funny, does my voting Atiku mean every other person would automatically make same choice? My reasons for voting Atiku could be different from another person's reasons for going the other way. Regions split votes, it's not a new concept.

Since you know this, where did you get the cumulative reasons that point to many southerners voting for Tinubu over Atiku?

You know that is not true, but who am i to argue...

Did Tinubu do anything against the SE that would make him hated? I can't recall any at all. He's been cautious on that regards. The perceived hate being talked about here from the SE is purely political and nothing personal. I can't even call it hate.

How did you come about this? Tinubu isn't hated on a personal basis in the east. APC is just generally hated and Buhari is hated more than Tinubu.

Fashola vs Tinubu
Hope vs Tinubu
Osinbajo vs Tinubu
Oshiomole vs Tinubu
Amaechi vs Tinubu
Buhari vs Tinubu

In SE alone, how do you think the results will go?

Note all these are core APC people who have all been APC from day 1 and held positions in APC

I did not say they'd vote Tinubu over Atiku, I said a lot of person's would vote for Tinubu, and Obi's votes won't simply pass automatically to Atiku.

Cubana Chief priest's interview with BBC Igbo is a good one. He said it as it is.

And can you see that Obi said the vandalism of the bridge, "our collective assets", could cause harm to people using the bridge, implying that the bridge is itself critical infrastructure.

This may not necessarily be English; this may be critical reasoning.

The Israeli citizens are currently marching on in Jerusalem shouting slogans like death to Mohammed, death to Arabs yet nobody go call them terrorist state but once Iran, Yemeni etc does the same some people go dey shout terrorism. They're doing it with police protection.

Okay

So how many states in the SE did Tinubu come 2nd, after Obi?

Obi definitely won. But since people will choose Tinubu over Atiku, show us where Tinubu came 2nd, and Atiku came 3rd?

A politician not winning votes from a particular region automatically translates to him being hated cheesy

My. Guy I know a few people that would have voted tinubu rather than give the north another 4yrs again.

The sentiment that the north owns Nigeria was a strong one. That was the first thing that got alot of people angry with PDP when atiku won the primaries.
I'm talking people down south.
To make it worse, the APC governors statement on zoning directly to the south even further angered people that PDP couldn't zone it to the south.
Alot of PDP people were receiving attacks because their reason was "those in opposition cannot zone".

How does this work.
Can it be that even those that might have considered tinubu as a middle finger vote to PDP actually went with a preferred choice in Obi. 🤔

The dynamics of a two-horse race is different from those of a three-horse race. People would vote Tinubu over Atiku in a two-horse race simply because they're opposed to a Northerner taking over from another Northerner.

Before Obi forced himself into the conversation, this was a very popular sentiment and in a two-horse race would have influenced votes significantly.

Our collective assets?
Who owns it before?
Nor be citizens?
Does that make it critical infrastructure?
We both know the reason those words were highlighted was that your guy was trying to twist words to score a point.

But if you want to twist yourself up then trust that I have the strength to achieve that for you 🙏

People? Yes
Southerners? Obviously No

Even in the last election, the North gave Tinubu the victory. Can't you see that?

Even the SW didn't give him the margin we thought.

Why you wan dey argue wetin dey for black and white?

In a 2 horse race, Tinubu won't have won the South (with Atiku)

The same way various govt side stepped and thought 2nd Niger bridge was not critical until Buhari did it and it became critical to Obi
Was economy not harsh under Buhari when he was building the bridge?
Let SS also enjoy their harsh economic situation infrastructure which will turn critical when its completed
You are comparing coastal road with second Niger bridge?

What number will be added?
There would be voter apathy and still you'll have more people vote for tinubu than Atiku.

I think you are underestimating the anger towards PDP for zoning it to the north.
How active were you on political twitter before PDP even did their primaries?

If INEC said he rigged Benue and Rivers they will cancel the votes from those states

Wike had a candidate and not from his party same way Makinde supported APC, Ortom supported LP

LP wnning showed in Abia where they won guber. Dem dey lucky for Anambra and Imo say guber election no dey the same time
INEC told the courts but Tinubu had already hijacked the courts.

The fact is that Tinubu cannot win elections without rigging. So assuming Obi didn't contest, Tinubu would have rigged all the SE and SS states including Rivers and Benue like he did.

Lol.. I remember it very well because that was part of what got alot of people angry at PDP.
Then the condescending way they spoke like they were entitled to the votes of SE and SS even made it worse and then the total underestimating of Obi was the final straw.

People don't realise that the first enemy of alot of Obidients were PDP hallelujah boys. Apc boys joined thinking that Obidients were mostly ex-PDP till the rallies started and they realised that even their own base wasn't safe.
That Lagos rally was an eye opener for them.

Aside Lagos which of course we know why and exceptions to youth centric environment like university

There is no other places Obi will get 20% in SW,should we say that is hatred for Obi too when he was not responsible for once bringing a pdp president to power who showed us shege...

Even if fuel is 2000, things get worse and the election is between tinubu and Obi, places like Illorin, okitipupa, ogbomosho, abeokuta will still comfortably vote tinubu

This infographics buttressed my point,Obi came 3rd in southwest despite his numbers in Lagos, tinubu came 2nd in SE and SS despite a strong Obi but Nairaland political and electoral experts will keep rehashing the same fallacy

Dem wan force tinubu hatred grin from same region he came 2nd

Lol, APC is very popular in the SS, so I wonder why you think they can't pull votes from the region with Tinubu as the only Southern candidate, and if it's direct North vs South, they'd show the Southern candidate plenty love. Atiku that was getting 80% plus in 2019 from the SE didnt get up to 20% from any SE state in the last election. While you can predict future elections from previous elections, the dynamics of the elections change with the candidates involved. Grammarnazi that said the South East would never vote Tinubu because he's a Yoruba man forgets that they voted Obasanjo in 1999 and 2003.
