Money no dey and people dey flex. One of my cousins got a car of 18m some weeks back , meanwhile he's always complaining that he doesn't have money. People hardly admit they have money in this country. When party start you go see doings you go come dey wonder if no be person wey bill you last month be this wey dey throw bundles.
Some people are weird sha, they'll have money and still be billing others. I don't understand if they don't want their own to finish if that's why they do that.

Gasoline costs around N35/liter in Iran for the first 60 liters (was 150 liters).
After the first 60 liters, the price doubles to N70/liter.

Folks smuggle gasoline out to Turkey for 30x (3000%) profit.
Iraq and Pakistan are other lucrative destinations for resale.

Last time the authorities tried to raise the prices, Iranians shut down the country, called for the Ayatollah's ouster, and the President had to cancel the increase. That was after hundreds had died in the ensuing crackdown.

Maybe we'll loan them Tinubu for 1 year. 🤣
How they've managed to pay such costly subsidies and still amassed the ME most potent missile arsenal is a mystery.

Everyone in the polity acknowledges the prices are too low.
But not even the Ayatollah has the nerve to touch the issue.
Before dem change am for am 2 seconds.

Iranians are built different. Fascinating people.
They have a 90m population. Export only 1.3m barrels per day. Demanding the heavens while under sanctions.
And all their protests are quickly co-opted by both domestic and foreign forces to demand the Ayatollah's ouster.
Yet if they remove the Ayatollah and get a West-aligned government, the IMF will force them to raise the gasoline (and gas price) at least 20x. And they're like Nigeria in that the country runs on fossil fuels. So the inflation that'll spark will make our 2024 feel like the Roaring 20's in comparison.
The reforms they do not want to accept under the Ayatollah will be forced on them if his regime falls.

-Lord
idgaf! Anything to cripple them against Israel is highly welcomed I want them on Libya scale if possible,so Jewish blood has been shed been shed.

It really amuses me why people do that. Why will I have money and still be billing others? Is that not low budget madness? What's the essence of making money if you don't want to spend it .

Whether you choose to fight or not, there's an established g-wagon gbese waiting for you.

You can choose to return blow for blow, but if you can't knock the g-wagon guy out, there'd be the g-wagon gbese or worse awaiting you. However you can eat a few punches like the guy in the video did (maybe none sef if you can duck punches real well), and the man-child g-wagon owner would go his way...chances are you'd be nursing a sore face for a couple days.

Assuming the man is superior in money and influence, which is most likely the case, the only option I see for someone that chooses to fight back is to knock him out and make a quick exit...you sure you can you knock that 6ft plus creatine guzzling monster out?

You are making my point. The gbese is established, the person who is behind the wheel is what is fluid. If he opens the door and meets a man who is breathing muscles, 6 ft or more and versed in boxing or MMA. Do you think the guy will just sit down, take punches and suffer a fractured face?

When GWagon owner open door and see that type pf guy, do you think the guy will even throw the punch? Na because e don open door, see a man he can dominate na why. Baba, some people are just as crazy. Where your madness start na where another pesin own start.

Like Mike Tyson said “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face”

That the gbese is established does not mean you'd necessarily have to pay it, so if your plan is to avoid paying that gbese, there's a way you'd move that increases the chances of you not paying. With that guy's build and temperament, there's very few civilians he won't attempt some form of roforofo with.

I legit didn't know who that was until I saw your comment about Nigerian winning CAF best player, that's when I knew it was a footballer. To be honest, the only football knowledge I have is from nairaland. Any thing I know about football and most other sports is from here, so don't blame me if I don't know him because I'm not a sports person at all.

She has Oyinbo husband who was happy living in Nigeria and his wife doing Buka work while the son who was shielded from Nigeria and homeschooled his whole life suddenly turns delivery driver for Buka. And based on the son being arrested, the Oyinbo man eye finally opened to take his family out of Naija?

I won't say that's the trigger, the Oyinbo man must have had something worthwhile doing in Nigeria in the first place that makes him overlook all the danger of Naija. Simple arrest of his wife's son won't be the main cause of him relocating.

The lady is acting surprised at Naija Police as if her leg never strong for ground all these years. These are all part and parcel of being a Nigerian. About 7 years ago one of my relative was falsely accused of rape of a minor. We know the people who made the accusation and know they wanted to shake us down for money. The father of the minor is even one of Atekes boys. After the family have approached us for "settlement" running into the low millions, all I did was release N200k to the Police chief in the station where my relative was held and get a lawyer on his case. First thing the lawyer asked the Police to do was to send the "victim" to Medicins Sans Frontier for examination where it was determined that she had not been defiled and her hymen was intact. Still they wanted to prosecute through this FIDA group who were working with the extortionists. Long story short we were faced with settling the extortionists plus FIDA for some low millions, or settling the Police plus lawyer fees for N500k and going to trial with a favourable report from the DPO for an innocent man. We took court option, make dem no say these guys done settle for neighborhood, and the innocent man was exonerated. Around N700k total.was spent on the matter and that was the cost of justice even though the man was innocent.

You know the drill 👏🏾

Most Nigerians also worship money. Irrespective of how the driver is built, as long as he knows the person he bashed his car is richer and more connected, he won't reciprocate those blows. This isn't a Western country, like theflint said, unless the plan is to knock out the person and escape, that will be suicide. After you reciprocate the blows, you'll be fvcked.
That's when the saying "he who runs away, lives to fight another day" becomes important.

They'll fvck you up, and nothing will happen oh. They might even off you, highest within months you'd be forgotten.

The way u trivialize a 15 year old kid getting picked up by police officers within his estate and getting locked up like a criminal several kilometers from parents’ residence is confusingly amusing sha .

It is well .

back from a ban

so i was in a meeting the other day. an online meeting.

so like i said before my old place has transitioned and is now fully nnpc.
and we are seeing the nnpc way of doing things
the ogas we were talking with from nnpc were largely northerners.

in the middle of the meeting, one said i have to go for prayers. this was an oga. He literally cut in on someone speaking and said I will be going for prayers soon. Not can we wrap this up, not we have another meeting coming up.

i was taken aback. though i should not have been. with that kind of attitude to work, and that casual cultural disrespect for everyone else called into the meeting, it is no wonder the port harcourt refinery upgrade took so long.

okay we are on the inspection. this is valve xyb we are checking...okay we have to stop the inspection now - the senior auditor says he is going for prayers.

is that derisive enough for you?

as for kemi - she is playing divide and conquer games. because there is a backlash

we have a project we were invited to quote for

out of the blue we are told we should start work

where is PO?

dont worry about that.

we were told project starts in December, which makes no sense as everyone else going to shut down within two weeks

now we got a call saying we must ALL RESUME TO WORK WITHOUT A PURCHASE Order

we have not even negotiated our original submission.

this used to be called retrospective PO and was grounds for serious disciplinary action

but here we are today being told this is a direct order from above
