He is not breaking anything. The structure really exists and the other major party don't even see labour has a threat.

You need structure to win LGA, state of assembly, Federal HOR and Senate elections.

PDP and APC both have people at those levels that would be heavily campaigning for their presidential candidates.

In Nigeria, the victory at the presidential polls is sum total of the effort of local political heavyweights in their wards and constituencies. That's structure. Does Labour Party or Peter Obi Campaign Organization has political influencers all over Nigeria?

Another major challenge facing Peter Obi is that he is the sole financier of his presidential bid. And presidential campaign sure requires massive funding with substantial leakages caused by people who would collect money without doing assigned task. Can Peter Obi open up his wallet wide when winning is not 100%?

We vote not because of any heavy weight in a ward but because of what we hear in the news. Do political parties drag people out of their house to vote? the answer is no. 99% of people who voted in the past elections had nothing to do with political parties, they simply liked or related to the contestants in one way or another.

"Secure" as in bribe voters, you mean.

Don't be vague now.

Because I don't see how a governor will stop people from voting who they choose even if it's someone from another party.

TooNoisy:
Keep deceiving yourselves. Peter Obi will not get 25% in any northern state. He is unknown over there.

He is not known in Osun, Ogun, Ekiti, Ondo and Oyo. No chance of him getting 25% in these SW states.

He wouldn't get 25% in Edo and Delta for sure. Oshiomole/Obaseki will secure Edo for APC/PDP. Okowa will secure Delta for PDP as he is on the ballot.

Obi cannot win any South South State. Udom will secure Akwa Ibom for PDP. Duoye Diri will do same in Bayelsa. Wike will probably join APC or at least remain in PDP. Cross Rivers will be split between 3 parties.

politically u are correct but I will like you to also consider what happened at Edo governorship election to understand the way things will go. Nigerians are no longer playing the party and regional politics ok. Let who is most qualified win.

Peter obi doesn't stand a chance. If he contests for presidential election 100 times, he will lose 101 times. And the simple reason he'll never win are some of his igbo supporters. There's nothing they support that succeeds. Their support is always based on emotions, hatred ,envy and anything evil. Same way they used their toxic support to ruin Jonathan.

You cannot be talking from both sides of your mouth. Today Nigeria is a zoo and other tribes are slaves, dirty, senseless, poor and all sorts, tomorrow you want adaobi to be president of the zoo and rule over slaves, dirty, poor zoogerians. It will be so shameful to see igbos falling back to chanting biafra after adaobi is beaten mercilessly in 2023 elections. Ya'll should have continued with your biafra fight rather than this peter adaobi you are chanting. It only shows you are bad losers and just being mischievous with the biafra fight.
