Eriokanmi: What stands Obi out that gives you the impression that he's the right person for the job? How is Obi better than Tinubu? Both are former governors, can you honestly compare Obi's achievements as a govenor with Tinubu's? Are you just being carried away by the fake rhetorics being propagated by Obi and his supporters? The rhetorics that on clinical investigations have been found to be fake? |

Softmirror: Your level of cynicism or self-deception borders on delusion of grandeur. Wake up and follow the huge population of Nigerians who have been subjected to miserable life in Nigeria by the old folks in APC and PDP. This massive population of Nigerians are chanting for Peter Obi for a change. |

Four main challenges we are likely to experience are; 1. Vote buying. 2. Underage voting 3. Election rigging. 4. Result rigging.

Re: Is Peter Obi Gradually Breaking The "Structure Jinx"? by MikeofAfrica: 10:41pm On Jun 20, 2022 |
ezechi242:Obi won 2003 Anambra Guber election due to the influence of Ojukwu . Mimiko was a grassroot mobilizer in Ondo when he won in 2007. He was a former Secretary to Ondo Government and minister of Housing before contesting for Governor in Labour Party. Hence he had a strong structure in Ondo by 2007. Obi built his structure across Anambra under APGA. He could not take the structure to PDP. Hence his candidates lost woefully in the last two Guber elections in Anambra. He joined Labour Party without any structure while the party also has no structure. Hence his ambition is dead on arrival nothwithstanding the noise on social media. He is a good candidate but cannot win the 2023 election. 2 Likes |

MikeofAfrica: Truly, na egusi dey your head not brain. Remember apc used same social media and other BBC press conferences to win election. Just calm down e go.soon clear for your eye. Have you ever wondered why Obi is always on the headline? Have you also wondered who APC fears most? If Your party and its candidate isn't scared, why are you trying to defend the same old man that made life unbearable for you and your relatives? Why are you supporting the same.peope that made it difficult for you to send money home ? |

festacman: "Another major challenge facing Peter Obi is that he is the sole financier of his presidential bid. And presidential campaign sure requires massive funding with substantial leakages caused by people who would collect money without doing assigned task. Can Peter Obi open up his wallet wide when winning is not 100%?" Bro/Sis, this is where you missed it. Peter Obi's campaign is s being fund solely by the individual volunteers, mostly youths who are tired of the status quo and needs a radical and drastic change. Peter Obi will like not spend up to 25% of the total amount his campaign might cost. Go and verify. |

TooNoisy: Are you living in all the states in the North? Are you a representative of all the Northerners? Are you even all the Northerners? Do you live in all the 5 SW States you mentioned? Do you speak on behalf of the Nigerians from these 5 SW states? Are Oshiomole, Obaseki and Okowa all the Nigerians in Edo and Delta? Really surprising the kind of authority people with which people emphasise on this issue of Politics. We all forget that each and everyone of us have just one vote. Just one vote. While we admit that the poverty rate can make people sell their vote, people are increasingly getting aware of the need to vote competence and defend their vote. 1 Like |

Nexus25:Calm down guy. The era of name calling and bigotry of all forms are over. They're no more in vague. If Obi were to be lagos governor or in Tinubu's position, Tinubu's achievements would have been a tip of the iceberg. Do you know the man called jakande, the former lagos governor? I'm from the family, by the virtue of mum. The last visit of tinubu to pa jakande's House, I was there, so you'd know how close I am to the family. Tinubu's achievement in 8 years as governor was nothing, when compared to pa jakande's achievement in less than 4 years. The former's achievements had been overhyped with lies and propaganda. Jakande constructed the then largest housing estate in Africa and completed it under 4 years. Lots of bridges and toads were also delivered before buhari and his men truncated their administration in a bloodless coup. That lagos literail, which Tinubu had been using to campaign since 1999 was started by jakande and stopped by the military. We've Been hearing that our state would own an airport since 1999. 4th mainland bridge too. Just recently they've started again by mentioning 4th mainland bridge as they do every 4 years when election is near. A ti wa gbon bayii oo. We can't be deceived again. Between 1999 and now, some.least expected states who don't even need that airport as much as we do have built theirs without making any noise about it. Their IGR is nothing compared to ours. Ebonyi, Bayelsa, Anambra and Delta States have built international airports. The Anambra airport was Obi's project which was delivered by Obiano. Pa Jakande would have finished the literail in 8 years as promised back then, had the military not struck. We would never have realised how rich lagos was , had ambode not become governor. See massive projects yet, lagos declared budget surplus for the first time I'm decades under ambode. The last time it happened was when pa jakande was governor of lagos. That's a long time ago. It's laughable when some people ignorantly say only those supporting obi are igbos. They'd eat their humble pie next year. Ariwo ko ni music. We'd do justice with our pvcs. I'm not an ethnic bigot. Tinubu did his best but his best was nothing when compared to the resources we had. Whenever they're mentioning Tinubu's achievements, they say he installed governors. He only installed his cronies, not those needed and preferred by the people to govern and represent them and if people's voice threaten his candidate, he'd have his way to ensure the people's voice was silenced. Is that a leader? All those he installed so far only served themselves and gave him returns as agreed, not the people. Democracy shouldn't be run as a business centre. Its supposed to be government of the people , for the people and by the people and not by a selected few who impose his candidates over the people. I'd remember buhari forever on his ascent to the new electoral bill which will go a long way in curbing ballot box snatching. How many boxes were reportedly snatched in the ekiti election? Results were being electronically collated the moment votes are being cast. That's Breakthrough. I'd urge you join us and save Nigeria from impending doom. Good night . |
