Again, Troops Rescue Another Chibok Schoolgirl, She Reveals How Her Boko Haram Husband Died.

Again, another lady believed to be one of the abducted Chibok schoolgirls has been rescued from terrorists’ captivity. This takes the number of rescued Chibok Schoolgirls to 3 within the space of one (1) month.

The story about the newly rescued lady was confirmed in a Twitter video posted by ZagazolaMakama, a counter insurgency expert and security analyst in the Lake Chad region.

Zagazola revealed that the girl was rescued on the 29th of June, 2022, by troops of 21 Army Armoured Brigade Bama after she escaped from the Boko Haram enclave in the axis of Bama Local Government Area.

The girl, who was found with a baby, identified herself as Ruth Bitrus.

In a video posted by Zagazola, Ruth described how she managed to escape from Sambisa forest eight years after Boko Haram militants abducted her from her school in Chibok town, Borno.

She also revealed how her Boko Haram husband died while attempting to plant a bomb against the Operation Hadin Kai soldiers two years ago.

She revealed that other Chibok Schoolgirls were still being held captive in Sambisa Forest.
