Luzebox: You can leave Christianity for sure but first it's not easy to be a Christian because it comes with a lot of responsibility as the founder gave his disciples a specific assignment. So if you've not been doing the assignment then you were never a Christian in the first place! 1 Like |

Workch: Funny atheist, going about creating threads upon threads about what you BELIEVE and trying to convince others yet you're here claiming you don't believe. Ọmọ you're already a believer in something otherwise you won't be here always trying to CONVINCE others to join you in ATHEISM! 1 Like

LordReed:everyone where I live knows I'm an atheist. I made that very clear to the first person that attempted to make me become a member of her church and the news spread from there. since then I wore it like a badge and I'm unapologetic about it. At work I made it known to only one person and the person seems to have kept it to himself although he does make some attempts at proselytising once in a while but I'm having none of it. As for my business places I told only one of my employees that I'm an atheist and she seemed to have told some people but whenever people attempt to bring it up in a conversation I just sidestep, change the conversation or say it not sensible not to believe in a god and I'd like to sit with people that don't to hear how they came to such a conclusion. the only reason I avoid being an open atheist in my business is simply business reason. Many people you'd tell you're an atheist starts seeing you as some pagan fetish person lol |

ThinkSmarter:That's a point. But what if we now find the simple events/stories unbelievable not because they were exaggerated, but because the timelines are so far away such that nobody has seen similar things happen for generations? |

doggedfighter:Satan used false religion to complicate issues for unbelievers! 2Corinthians 4:4 compare to Revelations 12:9 Christianity is all about searching for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matthew 10:6 Most religionists failed to grasp the highlighted phrase so let me break it down: When we say someone is LOST it means the person can't find his destination. SHEEP is one of the most obedient and calm domestic pet on this planet, this animal always feel lonely without its company. The HOUSE connotes a structure built or serving as an abode of human beings. And ISRAEL was a nation organized by a mighty spirit being who claims GOD Almighty and Creator of all things. So who or what is the lost sheep of the house of Israel? These are individuals not comfortable without being in the midst of God's true worshipers. Such individuals are ready to forgo anything as in ANYTHING just to be in the gathering of true believers, they are in all the nations of the earth! This is the type of people Jesus sent his disciples to go out there and fetch not people who are INDIFFERENT towards sacred matters. Therefore true Christians won't bother you once they found out that you're the type that's indifferent towards sacred things, we know our target , when we find such ones we will convince them that we have found the rest of God's flock and since that is what they've always crave for they will be glad to join God's family! Of course we live peacefully with everyone in our neighbourhood but we feel much more attached to our brothers and sisters in faith {Matthew 12:46-50} no matter where we found such ones we makes them our family immediately! John 13:34-35 So when you see religionists overly anxious due to your indifference know that they are not Christians but misinformed Churchgoers! |

ThinkSmarter: Of course we can't blame such person. But when you experience the divine power firsthand and not just what you read or hear, you will believe in divinity. The ancient world had fewer distractions, no cars or industries, no phones or social media, fewer cities and very low population. People had enough time and space to connect with their environment and observe things we don't even notice today. Same reason Christians of today don't do exploits like those days, everybody is trying to outcompete his neighbour or show off wealth and success. No one is truly seeking divine power or its wonders. As an inquisitive person, set out on your own to find this divine connection, challenge God to establish the truth of the Bible to you. You would be glad you did. |
Re: Do You Fake Being A Christian As An Atheist In Nigeria? by ThinkSmarter: 2:43am On Aug 19, 2022 |
crows2ravens:Yeah ,you made whole lots of points. We are distracted by civilisation. Like you said, during the Ancient time, Traditional religions, Hinduism ,Budhism thrived . Cuz the worshippers were totally immersed and in touch through meditation. It happened in the quiet places in the jungle/wilderness. And you don't need to be a member of a particular faith to experience the Cosmic intelligence/connection. You all need to get rid of negative energy/emotions like jealousy, hate, selfishness, cruelty. You need Full concentration of the mind with no distraction to tune in to the cosmic frequency. The Experience of Jesus Christ of Judaism/Christianity is so much related with the experience of Prophet Mohammed of Islam, Buddha and so many other gurus, mysyics, prophets and priests. The Cosmic Energy, is what spirituality call divine. Religion call it God. And God according to them is an elderly grey haired male living up in the space. And that is where, it sound illogical and look more like a myth. |

crows2ravens:Satan only seize the opportunity to capture people with this mindset of yours. The true God doesn't show up just because you CHALLENGE Him. NO! He has a reason for creating mankind and the earth, the only nation to whom God revealed this sacred secret is called "ISRAEL" so only those who come in contact with His people do see Him in action because God gave ISRAEL the job to establish pure worship therefore when any nation comes to disturb them the true God will show up to fight not just for Israel but to protect pure worship! Apart from that nobody can see God no matter the challenge you put up because all of us are sinners and we have all fallen short of His glory! Romans 3:23 |
