Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), a particularly strong polyphenol found in green tea, has been shown according to study to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects on the corneal cells.

Soak the tea bags in some water for a few minutes before using them to treat your eyes with green tea. After that, let the tea bags to cool fully or, for best results, place them in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Lay down, close your eyes, and place the cooled tea bags on your eyelids for ten minutes.

3. Eat More of Omega Fatty Acid Foods:
Supplements containing omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids are effective in treating dry eye syndrome, according to a review of studies. Try to increase your intake of these fatty acids to keep your eyes moist and healthy. Salmon, sardines, walnuts, flax seeds, chia seeds, and mackerel are all excellent sources of omega fatty acids. Consider a daily supplement if you don’t consume enough omega fatty acids from your diet.
