Obinoscopy: Perhaps you are right he shouldn't have quoted the Bible so as not to make some "intolerant" Christians attack him. Maybe he didn't use the right word, but I just want us to understand the context of his speech and what he hoped to communicate while using that event from the Bible. Oga mod abi former mod , I expected someone like you to be somewhat constructive and reasonable than this unfortunately anything flies in Nigeria... You want citizens to cut him some slack like they did to Buhari in 2014/2015 right? And end up with something worse than Buhari? What issues do you want them to concentrate on? So you're now the self appointed interpreter general to Agbado lord You are advising us to ignore red flags or pointers to dementia or schizophrenia because they're inanities according to you? Incoherence in thoughts and words isn't wisdom or any deep thinking whatever, it is what it is a sign of dementia or schizophrenia or Parkinson...Even when you saw pictures of the urine soaked cloth, or videos of him being aided or him finding it difficult to ambulate independently, you still want us to ignore and focus on documented gibberish that he hires professors to compile which even himself doesn't understand... Nigerians should check and ransack everything about every damn candidate from his personal life to family life to public life to business dealings etc You're a closet Tinubu fan...Don't be afraid of admitting your love for his style especially when he's willing to allow chop I chop policy... Why didn't you advise them to cut every candidate same slack? Why encourage them to ignore just Tinubu? My people call it; "okenye aruruala" that's what some of you're... Goodnight 1 Like |

Obinoscopy: Disclaimer: I don't support Tinubu's Presidential Bid.
I have noticed the numerous attacks on Tinubu. While some are valid, there are many that are just false and biased.
First is his health. They say his "hand dey shake" and that he pees his pants. They say he can't walk unless he is being held by the hand. But that's not true. I've seen numerous recent videos of him walking by himself and his hands were steady. Nobody, and I repeat, nobody is 100% healthy. So I think its wrong for anyone to brand him unhealthy. He appears healthy to me. Is he healthy enough to be able to juggle the stress of Nigerian presidency, I don't know (maybe he isn't) . But going by the Nigerian constitution, he's fit.
Second is his academic qualifications. I've heard him talk and he seems very academically sound. Even though his primary and secondary schooling appears to be an unsolved mystery, the fact remains that he is academically sound. Also his postgraduate degree seem to be verifiable. Attacking Tinubu's primary school is like attacking a Professor's primary school. So, let's all drop this primary school attacks. He is an almamater of a prestigious university and he is academically sound.
Which leads me to the attacks on the things he said in public. I think Tinubu is a deep thinker and speaks almost in parables/proverbs. So sometimes, it would seem what he is saying is unintelligible. But the reverse is the case. When he was talking about Corn and Agbado, he was simply referring to Agricultural Self Sustainability. When he talked about tongues from the Bible, he was referring to the Babylonian Tower where God made everyone speak in different tongues which is now responsible for human cultural/language diversity (Genesis 11:1 - 9).
So let's cut this man some slack on irrelevant things and attack him on issue based concerns. We should attack him on his policies, on his financial dealings, on his gubernatorial achievements/failures, etc Thanks for the damage control. Hope this Obi in your name is not to make people believe you are obidient, you even started by saying you don't support him. Sannu. I no get tribal mark sha |

Tinubu obviously read his bible or did some biblical research before the event.
That was a slam dunk speak with intelligent and creative context about diversity, understanding, and unity.
This is one of the many reasons why I love this man.. 1 Like 2 Shares |

I beg you in the name of God, first watch the video before you respond to me, don't take word out of context... This is what Tinubu said below:
"Though tongues and tribes may differ, but in brotherhood we stand"
He continued "it is a pledge that Nigeria, I am ready to serve"
"It is about service to this country"
"We inherited speaking in tongues from the Bible, but our diversity is a promise for Prosperity"
Inherit speaking in tongues, Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, TIV etc from the Bible. Where did God change our tongues? Is it not at Babel in the Bible??
But the issues with you guys is, you believe he's talking about the normal speaking in tongues of holy Spirit...... Open your minds please.
The whole world speaks thesame language before, God change our tongues at Babel ( so we have divers languages.
TONGUES MEANS LANGUAGES! Mr interpreter, tongues doesn't mean language in the context of use. Speaking in tongues is different from having different languages |

Intolerant, out of the millions of Christians in Nigeria we were called incompetent yet you stand here defending nonsense. Abeg in all your defense don't drag the Bible or Christianity into it cos when Deborah was killed in sokoto and all the other things that happened there you didn't call Christians intolerant. Your tongue is the muscle in your mouth that you press against your teeth in order to speak, as well the home of your taste buds. What a useful member of the body! Tongue supposedly came from the Latin word lingua, meaning "language," but you can't hear the similarity because we pronounce it TUNG, keeping the "ue" silent. A tongue can be anything shaped like your tongue. The flap of leather under your shoelaces is called a tongue, and so is the striker inside a bell. Tongue also means language, like the German tongue, or the Cajun tongue. As a verb, tongue means "lick," as in when the dog tongues your empty plate. https://www.vocabulary.com/dictionary/tongue |
