Well, if Nigeria is still suffering from the actions of the British government — we can still change our story.

Let's vote Peter Obi next year, he'll restructure Nigeria then each region can progress without disturbance. grin

The Queen was The Head of State of The British Empire! The anthem was for her!
She's now explaining to God how as a Head of State, she was soooooo powerless to stop or even condemn the killings of ten thousand children per day, just to satisfy her countrys imperial thirst for oil. Since you're so desperate to prove her innocence, You may want to join her over there to explain "her innocence" to the Gods too..
Willing slaves and generational serfs can't stop bleating..

Valid point there bro!! Africans should eschew playing the emotional card and go out their and get what you want or desire. The Jewish took swiss banks to court for their role with nazis about what the nazis took from them and they where payed almost a billion euro for that, that's action there but what our people do is cry and blame with taking no action and for me that's bullshit. Go out there and get what you desire, life is a concrete jungle, dont feel pity for yourself or what the other person did to you rather take your revenge in any possible way or shut your fu$king trap and move on. This is to all my African peeps crying like bitches without putting effort to address the situation.

My question is, where was this woman when the queen was still alive?

If there is anything that I have said that is factually wrong, educate me! But just obfuscating facts while doing violence to history! Facts are facts..
You're the one hiding your ignorance here, by pretending like you know too much of what you don't know!

When John Lennon rejected his MBE because of Biafra, did he write to The Queen or to the Parliament? What was the Queens stand on the Biafran genocide!? On apartheid? These are pertinent questions.

To say that the Head of the British empire, whether ceremonial or not , is incapable of speaking up against genocides, apartheid and invasions is patently atrocious!
She made a choice to side with her people. You should not be educating her victims on how to remember her..

This lesbian bitch was born in 1976, that was six years after the war. Six years after, the country was on it's pathway to recovery. Three years after her birth, an ibo man, Alex Ekwueme was elected the VP alongside Shagari. Ibos were in the seat of power 9 yrs after. Such has never been achieved anywhere else in the world in such a very short time. No rebels fought against the sovereignty of a country and was allowed close to power in 9 yrs, None ever!
She was mislead and misinformed by narratives written by Chinua Achebe-a man who fled into his grave, opening up fresh wounds at the time the country was healing. He dropped a book on his death bed without the courage to face fierce criticisms
Little was she informed about the role of Ojukwu in starving millions of biafrans.
https://www.nairaland.com/7325192/historical-excursion-how-ojukwu-starved
Little was she informed that biafra was heavily backed by France who supplied both Military and financial support on the side of biafra. Military planes called biafra babes were manned by European pilots, majorly, the French and swedish pilots. Fortunately or unfortunately, there can only be one winner on either side. Most likely, ibos could have been French speaking biafrans if they had had the victory. Would have been heavily indebted to the French Government who till today are defacto head of Government to all former French colonies in Africa.

There's no aspect of human history that's pleasing to man. If Biafra have won, won't that be on the blood of both sides? At least one party in a war must won or there must be truce of some sort.

Nobody is interested in war, but war is interested in everyone. We can not always have a monolithic Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa when the rest of the world has achieve "Russia" and "China" and what have you.

There's no feeling sorry for not having a Yoruba or Igbo nation where America was built fighting the abirigins to build a nation so big. She's enjoying the very thing she's fighting the queen against.

Let her relinquish her opportunity to the native Americans to act justified. It's the Aboriginal "Igbo" right of the native Americans she rides upon to earn her present reputation, no native American can enjoy the same privilege in Igbo land.

Although, good historical question she has raised.

Nothing is convenient, either wrong or right. A choice just have to be made for a greater good. Everything comes with opportunity cost.

No one is hailing any oppressors and if there are people hailing oppressors, then it’s the people worshipping their [b]foreign religion.

This uju of a woman came out to the public wrongly, she was mocking the dead. She could have made her point without having to mock the dead... Infact, I would have supported her if not for the fact that she mocked the dead..

Lastly, you can’t blame the queen for whatever British did to us. A ceremonial throne has no control over government, it’s government that has control over her & all. She has no control over anything, except whatever they want her to control... Let me give you this instance;

Pope stays in Rome, right? Now, let say Italy committed atrocities against a certain country, would you solely blame the pope? Remember, Pope no matter whatever his controlling can’t control government..[/quote you are making reference to two different people. What is the anthem of england " god save the Queen ". And now " god save the king". So after god in their country is the king or queen as the case maybe.

Re: Queen Elizabeth’s Crown Not Her Own – Uju Anya by Reference(m): 9:53am On Sep 12, 2022
Na so. But everyone was conquered and enslaved by someone throughout history and ancient antiquity.
The United States where she is, is a nation of immigrants, so her folks there have chased away and enslaved people.
After that the British assaulted and occupied the Americas for a while until the American War of Independence.
Even Britain was attacked, occupied and pillaged by the Vikings, Gauls and notably by the Roman empire under Julius Caesar and the inhabitants led into captivity.

I am sure if you look closely at her ancestry, indeed the ancestry of every African you will discover that a good while back they too did some conquering, pillaging and slavery. It is a fact of life till this day. For goodness sake is she aware of what Nazi Germany did to much of Europe or the Japanese to much of Asia..... turning those countries to dust... dust from which they have all risen to prosperity....

The only injustice worth pursuing with such venom as she demonstrates is that which presently persists. History is history. Its value is in teaching and instruction for a better future, not as an anchor to one's soul as some blacks have decided, to billboard it as a reason for their inability to prosper or build viable, equitable and progressive societies.

The monarchy in Britain is not the only monarchy in the world and all monarchies are similar in their desire to expand, exploit and enslave, one way or the other. There is no tribe, tongue, nation and peoples that has not been ravaged by the conquests of empires of antiquity anywhere in the world.

If na slavery, every race has been enslaved, if na independence every nation has fought bitterly to be free at one time or the other. Since the Tower of Babel collapsed it has been so.
So what is all the noise about.

The diamonds in the palace were all stolen from different places, the big diamond on her crown were taken from india and some Indian people are planing to get it back
Keep hating uju that some of y’all can’t even look in her eyes in real life

Flawed agurement, 60% percent of diamonds are from either Africa or Asia.. So if a British man should acquire a diamond in Africa dose that means it is stolen..
The British developed India and started mining diamonds just the way it was the British that discovered crude oil in Nigeria and started exploration.
Are we Nigerians going to wakeup one morning and start to tell the British to return all the crude oil they took during the colonial era because we are now independent.
The Prof should shut up the English language she is speaking now was a result of colonialism..

Ojukwu didn’t even prepare for their foods. Imagine declaring your own country without food’s. What were they suppose to be eating?

Part of me believe the reason why some Igbos became cannibals today was that they were eating each other back then when they don’t have food’s. Wouldn’t be surprised if Ojukwu also ate Igbos to survive.
The war was not thought out well by Ojukwu but because of his affinity for power he discarded obvious red flags, but the igbos would rather blame anyone rather than themselves, very despicable.

Since these wasn’t food, what were they eating if not human flesh?
